Scratched windows and glass panels are common problems on new construction sites. Whether it's a quick slip during installation or the result of improper window cleaning, glass tends to get scratched. Instead of expensive glass replacement, HR X GLASS can remove scratches, scrapes, acid & chemical burns, vandalism, graffiti, and more. Our unique process restores glass to its original shine!
We purchased custom aluminum frame glass cabinet doors and drawers to reface our kitchen cabinets with HRX Glass in Hallandale, Florida, that we found on Amazon. The sales representative, Alejandro, did NOT meet the expectations promised. Toward the end of our process, Alejandro demonstrated a lack of professionalism, expertise, management skills and customer service. This was demonstrated by Alejandro continuously repeating himself and stating that he wants to make us happy. He NEVER listened to us or our contractor. We requested to speak with the owner of the company, Camilo, on numerous phone calls and emails. We were NEVER given the opportunity. In our opinion, it is clear that Alejandro’s true purpose is NOT to ensure his client’s complete satisfaction. We think HRX Glass is a TERRIBLE company! It was very distressing working with Alejandro due to his lack of listening skills, lack of consideration to return phone calls and inability to speak with our contractor and his team in a professional manner. I was told that Alejandro was extremely rude to them. We tried talking matters over with Alejandro, but he got very defensive and kept repeating, "I want to make you happy!" Or, “You didn’t ask for that”. My husband and I are NOT contractors and don't want others to experience the same horror that we did. We want to tell the world how bad a relationship with a custom cabinet door company can get. That’s why we’re sharing our story here. When we initially spoke with Alejandro, he seemed very pleasant and on the ball. After going back-and-forth for almost a month with detailed pictures, measurements, templates and placement, he emailed us the estimate and we paid in full. In order to get to this point, not only did I communicate with Alejandro; but, our contractor did as well, to clarify the measurements. Alejandro verbally pointed out to me on the final measurements on the estimate, I had made a typo. The correct measurement was finalized and conveyed to Alejandro by myself and our contractor. Let’s not forget that detailed pictures with CORRECT measurements were originally provided to Alejandro. Now, let’s fast-forward to the merchandise we received. All the drawer faces, that we paid extra to have holes drilled for the handles were incorrectly placed. Prior to payment, two of the door measurements, on the INVOICE had a typo and were verbally discussed and the measurements clarified. (Now let’s not forget, pictures with correct measurements were originally sent.) Alejandro owned up to making a mistake and shipped the correct drawers to us. As for the two doors; after much arguing and emails, two correctly sized doors were shipped to us. Upon our contractor about to install the drawers, he pointed out to us that one drawer was too short. As for the doors, which were to be soft-closing, there was much discussion as to the proper hinges we needed to purchase and have holes drilled accordingly. Alejandro was provided detailed pictures, measurements and the website where the hinges were to be purchased. After exhausting discussions, Alejandro verbally told me that they were correct and will work. What was provided would not work! This has resulted in us spending a few thousand dollars to rectify the errors made by Alejandro. For over a week we tried to discuss the matter with Alejandro. He would NOT take or return our calls. We insisted on talking with the owner. That too did not happen. Don’t repeat our mistake. Here is our advice: 1. If you are going to spend thousands of dollars on purchasing replacement kitchen doors and drawers, spend an extra $25 and do a deep background check and use a local company. 2. Read reviews carefully! HRX Glass had NO reviews. We should have questioned why. 3. Make sure you sign a contract that gives specific details, return policy, etc. We didn’t do that; we only signed an estimate, which is not at all the same thing.
