Description of Work: Removed shrubs from front bed area. Leave Azaleas under front window. Sprayed out bed area to eliminate all weeds in bed. Grubbed all bed areas and removed all debris. Installed landscape fabric as a weed barrier throughout all bed areas. Installed plants in their respective locations: Dwarf Oleanders, Hibiscus, Bottlebrush, Flax Lilies, Purple Fountain Grass, Robeline Palm & 6 yards of large Crimson Rock throughout the bed to a 3” thickness.
Even though they were told of existing in-ground electrical, Internet cable, and Satellite cable, they did not get a proper buried cable survey done. As a result, they cut both Internet and Satellite cables. New cables had to be run. They reluctantly paid. The water source for the irrigation system is a well. I specifically requested in the contract that the water source be taken from the well tank. However, the irrigation specialist decided to take his feed from the well. As a result, he only got water when the pump was running. A back flow preventer is on the well tank. Bed prep was not properly done. All the plants that were supposed to be removed were not. Weeds were not properly killed. When replanting, soil prep consisted of throwing a handful of peat moss in the hole and planting the plant. Many of the transplanted azaleas have subsequently died. Edging was good. Pavers were good. Weeds growing 1 week after they finished. More, but space does not allow.
