PAV'R CONSTRUCTION

He was a crook and I hate him. He cheated me out of over $300 and the job still hasn't been done right. They were horrible. We moved here and one of the first things we did was put a pool in. This guy was very uncooperative and didn't show up when he was supposed to. He would send one guy and come with not enough equipment to do the job. Within the first 6 months half of the pavers collapsed somewhere as much as 4 - 6 inches. They came back once and they fixed a small area and then it started doing it all the way around the pool deck. They fixed a little larger area and then the third time we called them back they started blaming the pool contractor and that he didn't backfill good enough when he put the pool in. And I am going wait a minute, you guys were here. Nobody else has been here to work on this but this company and the pool contractor. That's not my problem; it's this company and the pool contractor. He walked off the job and refused to come back unless everybody paid 1/3 so I had to take $300 out of my pocket to get warranty covered that was covered in writing for one year. That is why I would never use them again. They suck. They weren't fair. When you charge a person for doing warranty work that's to me, robbery. It was like ransom, if you don't pay this $300 I am not coming back. I haven't dealt with people like this before. I used to own my own business so I get really firey when people jack people around. If he had done his job right the first time or come back and corrected it right the second time I would probably give them a B overall. Because I still don't think they did the job in a timely manner either. But when you refuse to stand behind your company and work you deserve an F across the board period. And when you hold people up for ransom to finish a job that is your fault, that's an F- in my book. I would not send my worst enemy to this guy to have him do work. This went on for over a period 2 years. The reason it was a shouting match between us, the pool contractor and this guy was because he was a subcontractor of the pool company. You had a choice of pavers or concrete and we picked pavers. So when we started having warranty problems I got the guys card and started calling him directly because he was ignoring us. I don't know what the pool company contracted him to do because it was part of the pool package.
