 + -1 moreAmazing! These guys are always on time, communicate what's going on well (especially well for contractors) and are some of the nicest guys around. Mike and his team, particularly Joe and Jeff are phenomenal to work with. Every person on their crew and the subs that they use for electrical, tiling, etc. are just as caring and hardworking as their leaders. Mike is on the job usually multiple times per day checking on the project, and as the owner, gives you a sense of relief that you know things are going right. Their time schedule has been right on (our project isn't yet finished, almost is), even with a few days worth of weather delays and cancellations. Every morning the crew is on time, if not early and if it starts raining, they'll wait out the rain and be right back on the job. If you're considering putting in a pool, I strongly encourage you to go with them. They're not the cheapest in town, but you get what you pay for. Quality, honesty, strong work ethic from the leaders down and integrity. We are beyond thrilled with Gulf Breeze Pools & Spa!

Description of Work: I used Gulf Breeze to renovate my pool. They did everything. They redid the pool, put in decking, replaced the equipment and did a complete overhaul.

Mike was rarely on site but did pop by every now and then and called to keep a check on everything really nice guy! Also did military discount..which was nice! Other than the time delay everything went pretty smoothly!

I don't think we're going to go with them, but it has nothing to do with their service. He seemed very knowledgeable. He listed everything individually for me, which was nice.

 + 0 moreInitially the project planned was to replace the vinyl liner in our 20,000 gallon in-ground pool and replace the chlorine system with a salt water chlorinator est $4800. Trouble quickly ensued because the previous owners of our home or the previous pool contractor leveled the well points. Mike and his crew [promptly notified us that we would need to put in new well points adding $1200 to our total. They were quick,professional, and accurate with the well points removing the water from the ground table. The previous contractor had only added patches of concrete to the existing floor of the pool and it was damaged beyond a quick fix. Mike and his crew continued to work with absolute courtesy amidst our broken spirits. Mike offered payment options to cover the extra labor, and concrete repair. They redid our entire pool and we are more than pleased with the work, our salt water chlorinator is exceeding our expectations and our pool is safe, reliable, and gorgeous! Thank you Gulf Breeze Pools.

Description of Work: I chose Gulf Breeze to install our pool. Pool construction was started in April. Finished in 2 weeks, but was leaking a good amount of water immediately. After 2 months of trying to find the leak, we now have a pool we can use. The problem is, the liner has multiple patches. We essentially paid 35 k for a brand new pool and it has a liner with multiple patches. To us, this is not good business practice and we are thinking about filing a complaint against his license. I don't want a brand new pool that has a liner that is patched all over. We also had to drain and refill our pool 3 times. Our first hi water bill was 177, and we just got the second and it was 233. He gave us $80 towards the bill. Besides the liner leaking, there was a leak behind the light that required pulling up pavers, dirt, and patching light from behind. In addition to these issues, more than once, our shovel was taken from our yard. The first time, it was returned, but the second time it was not and he gave us $20 for the shovel. It was a good tru temper shovel. Now I have to drive to the store to buy another one. I feel a brand new liner needs to be installed since it has so many patches in it. We will update this review if that does happen.
