Kurt Freeman with FreemanMade is a former home builder and Construction Superintendent with a large company in Florida. He’s moved back to Alabama for his wife’s work and has decided to be his own boss again and is now taking jobs exclusively from Home Advisor. I hired him to replace balusters on our 3 staircases but instead, he created works of art at a great price. He also built some awesome columns to make a statement when reaching the top of one of the staircases. He can literally do anything. The most responsive and responsible contractor I have ever used. He does all the work himself and brings his own shop vac, broom, and mop and constantly cleans up as he goes. I could not recommend him more highly! If you need a HANDYMAN who is very reliable, will show up on time, will go above and beyond what you need, hire Kurt! I m almost positive that he can take care of anything you need. From working on my privacy fence to putting hinges on my kitchen cabinets - he can get it done!!! Call Kurt - you ll be glad you did!

I needed to have my oak floors refinished. Kurt Freeman came to the house and did a beautiful job refinishing my living room and dining room floors. Kurt is easy to work with, honest, dependable. Heâ ll spend time to ensure we both understand the deliverable and there are no surprises. He shows up on time and stays with the job until itâ s done. When plans change, I get text updates so Iâ m not waiting around. And heâ s not just a cabinet guy, he can fix anything. Seriously, no matter how bad it is, he can make it work. A total professional, I highly recommend!

Kurt is honest and reliable, can can fix anything! We have an old house and had a lot of "little" projects that most handymen don't want to deal with. Kurt was fair and reasonable, and found innovative ways to fix our issues. We will definitely use Kurt's services again.

Kurt was great to work with. We needed major repairs to our storage shed and his recommendations and work product reflected his knowledge and experience. We had a lot of special requests and conditions and he was great to work around everything, even being careful around some young trees. He tore out and replaced exterior walls and repaired damaged framework as needed. At our request, he saved and replaced exterior metal pieces to save us money. He also did some foundation support work under the shed on a very steep slope. Left the site quite clean. We are pleased with his work and would definitely hire him again.

Mr. Freeman was on his last job of the day across town but came to help me out anyway. He was professional and very knowledgeable. He will be our "go to guy" for the entire complex that I live in from now on. I have also recommended him through our community newsletters to handle any of our awning repairs.

Did great job replacing wooden handrail and matching the other one. He had missed 2 screws in one of the posts. I called him and without question returned to fix it.
