Overall great. Left around 100 nails in the yard but when they finished it was dark. Called Fields and they immediately dispatched a crew to find any remaining nails in the yard. Will definitely use Fields again.

They were great! Chris came out and met with us, put estimate together, explained everything and we moved forward. Crew was really hard working and clean up was almost perfect. I would definitely recommend them.

I asked for a roof repair for over two months. They kept telling me they'd get to it. I finally had to move on,

Guy shows up reeking of booze. The estimate was ridiculously high and I felt it was to brush me off.

I was not impressed with the quality of the roof. Also, gutters were left damaged, nails and bricks dropped and left in pool. The most upsetting was the "up charge/change order”. Roofer gave a contract price then once a large amount of decking had been removed and the attic space and insulation were exposed to the exterior environment, said there would be additional cost. Upon agreeing to do what he could to “lower” the cost he quoted of around a 25% upcharge that day, he completed the roof and the following day submitted the final “upcharge/change order” for even more money! Ended up with a 37% increase in cost. Roofer was unwilling to negotiate and come to find out is using the license of someone who’s address is listed in Texas on both the DBPR and County licensing websites. Roofer refused to provide the license holder information for meeting to discuss the absorbent change order. He stated this was his business and all business matters would be handled with him.

I originally called for a quote on May 24, 2016. I left message requesting estimate for Roof repair/replace on house and a separate garage. No one called back so on May 25, 2016 I "e" mailed them through Angie's List. Later that day I received response back stating that they had tried twice via phone to respond. This seems to the normal response when they fail to return calls as there was no evidence of any calls from them. A man named Larry called later that day informing me that he would come by either the following Friday or Tuesday to give a estimate for the job. Tuesday came and went and no one called or showed up. on Wednesday June 1, 2016 I received call from Ken Robinson apologizing for Larry's no show/no call. I made appointment for Thursday June 2, for quote. Ken showed up at the scheduled time. I receive job estimate from Ken. I was very pleased with Ken. He spent over an hour with me answering questions and explaining what I needed for a new roof. Offered what I thought was a fair estimate. So far so good. I called Ken the next day, Friday June 3, 2016 with a couple additional questions and to approve the job. during the conversation I informed Ken that I was going to buy a tarp to cover roof to stop additional leak damages because it would be about 4 weeks before they could do the re-roof .Ken then offered to have a couple workers "dry in" my roof to help me out and that he would make arrangements and call later that day to let me know when they would be out. I then informed Ken he definitely had a deal since he was really helping me out. At this point I was really impressed with Fields Roofing. He never called back. It rained over 4 inches over the weekend. Very wet sagging roof. Thanks Ken. I called Fields Roofing on Saturday and talked to a "Answering Service" and was told they would text Ken with the information regarding the leak and that I wished for a call back. You guess it, never herd back. I called Ken Tuesday June 7th . He did not seem to remember anything about his "kind" offer he made during our discussion we had Friday. I reminded him and he then apologized saying "didn't someone come by and take care of it" Oh no!!? I sorry and I take full responsibility for it. I still haven't had enough though. He told me he would again arrange for workers to come by and "dry in" my roof. He said he would call that afternoon to let me know when thy would be by to do the "dry in." I have never herd from Ken Robinson or Fields Roofing. I GIVE UP!

Very timely and professional

Great people to deal with. Prompt response for estimate. Gave the best price compared to others I received estimates from. Got right on the job. Got my old roof up to specs, complying with new guidelines. Needed a small repair, thus only a small increase over estimated price, (did not know extent of repair/update until they got on the job. Very fair.). Honest, knowledgeable, hard working crew, very thorough. A professional outfit overall.

Mike is very anal about his work which slowed him down some. He is very good at metal roofing.

Scheduling was delayed by bad weather. When the weather permitted, a two man crew arrived and I showed them the new fans and explained about the built-in thermostat/humidsat attached to the top mounted solar panel. The fans were on my back porch and as soon as we moved them in the sunlight, the motors started running! And absloutely no noise. Prior to securing the fans to the roof, the thermosta/humidstat had to be lowered below each fan for proper operation. After the roof was patched the crew cleaned up the area and left. This was the second time I've used Fields and have been well pleased with the cost and quality of their work.

Chris was very professional. Workers came out about two weeks later to finish the project in one day (hottest day of the year). I have had one rain since then and there don't seem to be any issues. The only thing that was a little surprising was that I had to take some paperwork down to the county building to confirm the permit (had to get it notarized which costed an additional $10). Their price was excellent and I would use them again.

Need a new tear down and complete replacement. Contacted 8 of the A companies listed through Angie's List April 8th, received 8 salesmen within two days of contact, and only got one of the promised estimates -- Tri State. From Fields I never received estimate or a returned call. This was several weeks before our local flood. So baffling.

This took about 3 days to do and they did a good job.

This provider responded promptly to our request for roofing information and was on time for the first appointment during which he inspected and photographed the existing shingle roof and provided samples from 3 shingle manufacturers. He then submitted a detailed and professional proposal for a new roof describing the roofing process and including photographs and diagrams of problems with our existing roof. Upon our acceptance of the proposal, the roofing crew arrived as scheduled, removed the old roof, made needed repairs, and installed the ice and water shield followed by new shingles. During this well-defined process, every worker seem to know his part and executed it professionally. When done, they removed the roofing debris and left the house perimeter clean by sweeping for nails. The provider then followed up by doing a walk-through of the completed job and again swept the property for nails. Two weeks after the job completion, we experienced a long rainy period, and the provider called us to make sure our new roof had no leaks. This provider was very responsive and personable during the entire re-roofing job. All proposed tasks were completed professionally and on schedule, and the results were verified during the inspection process. We're very happy with our beautiful new roof and we definitely recommend this provider without any reservations.

Went very well. When they discovered plywood under shingles that needed replaced, they immediately notified us and sent us pictures of the boards that needed replaced. Replacement price was reasonable. The only negatives we had: 1. Several small patches of tar were on the front sidewalk 2. One of the workers left his shirt draped over the chimney pipe. Mt neighbor noticed it and told me about it. They came right out and removed it.

They were quick and timely. I had to just remind them when they were supposed to be here. My overall experience with them was excellent.

Fields was hired to reroof a house. They did the worst imaginable job. From measuring the roof to the application of the roofing material they did not appear to have any idea of the proper procedures of roofing. Nobody on the project (fulll Time) spoke english. They failed the local building inspection four times. The roof subsequently had two water leaks doing interior damage and had to be repaired by another contractor. Three police reports were filed on Fields and the police were involved four times. Eventually required: lawyers, insurance companies, and law suits.Fields was an absolutel nightmare and I would never recommend for anything.

The roof leaked and they did the worst work that I have ever seen. There is now lawsuit with them. They technically did not know how to put a roof on.

WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY GREAT COMPANY OF PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE!!! I called on a Thursday; they returned my call the same day. They came Friday morning and gave me various options as to product and price. I selected the option that best met my needs. I received the faxed written contract on Friday afternoon. Signed it and faxed it back on Saturday. The crew showed up Monday morning, and both jobs were finished by Tuesday afternoon as promised and for the exact amount quoted. When they left, all construction debris went with them. It's rained heavily twice since the new roofing system was installed. NO LEAKS, NO PROBLEMS. If you want the job done right the first time for a fair and equitable price, this is the company you want to hire. Great job, guys, great job!!! THANK YOU, Mr. Fields (both father and son)!!!
