BEWARE! I have had Pete Sekuls company Bay Town Landscaping take care of my lawn for over a year. Ive had to speak with him on multiple occasions in order for him to have his lawn company edge my grass after mowing along with other things I didnt realize I would have to bring to a professional companies attention. Recently one of his employees notified me that he ran over my dogs toy bone, in doing so the bone shot out from under the lawn mower and damaged the siding on my home. I was in the home at the time and to me it sounded like the riding lawn mower ran into my house! Either way, after 1 week of calling Mr. Sekul 3 times, leaving 3 voicemails, a Text message with pictures, and an email, he finally reach out to me today. He notified me that he doesnt know how to fix the siding of the home, he doesnt know anyone to come and fix it and he WILL NOT pay for the damages. This conversation lasted less then 5 minutes, Pete Sekul did not care to be helpful about the situation. This will be the last time I deal with this company I DO NOT recommend!

The folks at Baytown were fast, reasonably priced, and did quality work. Usually, you have to sacrifice at least one of those things.

Pete and his team did an exception job of landscaping and reshaping and sodding the yard. I vetted 4 other companies before deciding to go with Pete. He did not tell me what I wanted to hear, but what is really needed in this environment for low maintenance etc. His prices were below his competitors and his quality of work and communication were more than what I expected. He even moved some sprinkler heads around and changed them out with his inventory to meet the needs. We went with Empire Zoysia per his recommendation and I get no less than 2 compliments a week of cars and walkers stopping by to tell us how well this looks. Make no mistake! Baytown Landscaping will be my point for all future landscaping needs.

I do not recommend a lot of companies, since my name will be attached. Pete and the gang of Baytown worked with us on several projects, and have recommended them to everyone I meet. Our landscaping project is currently in the top 1% of of subdivision. And that says a lot. They are now our family..... They are second to none!!!! They completed landscaping projects in the front of the house, backyard, as well as driveway. In addition, they are irrigation experts. Before buying grass, trees, flowers, organic and chemical products, just ask Pete. He is better than google.

They were very professional, proficient and did a wonderful job. We would highly recommend them. GREAT JOB!!!!!

Very responsive initially, came out several times to complete measurements and ensure we were in agreement on the job. Sod install was okay. The final product is not nearly as smooth as I thought it would be, and lots of weeds. I tried to contact Pete to discuss but he will not answer or return calls.

Pete was very personable and prompt to address our landscaping needs . Very happy with the results in removing the plant debris and cleaning out our yard. They worked very hard to meet our standards. Very nice and friendly staff

Owner was a great guy and hard worker. Only problem was the quality of the sod put down. Not the best.

Update as of 9.21.2019 - I still feel that Pete knows his stuff but he isn't standing behind his work or his word. He installed all new irrigation, landscaped, installed grass/plants/jasmine/etc, and the sprinkler system was faulty. He told me it was vapor locked and replaced a part. The grass/jasmine that died in the interim will not grow back. It seems as though since he installed a faulty irrigation system, he should replace the dead items. I have 3 huge areas in the back yard and a couple out front that are dead. The sprinklers don't cover the entire area so that is another problem. Even if we replaced the dead grass, it wouldn't get adequate water in numerous areas. I have contacted him multiple times but he will not respond or fix the issues. I even offered to pay him for the cost of replacement grass, but the sprinkler system needs to be corrected as well and we do not feel we should have to pay for a new irrigation system twice. Thoroughly disappointed since we trusted him. We worked so hard to get this yard back to where it needed to be when we bought this house, and his faulty sprinkler systems (the front and back yard systems don't water the entire grass areas ) really should be corrected by him at his own cost. I will update the review if he ever responds and does what we consider to be the right thing. Initial review 3.27.2019 - Pete is very knowledgeable and comes out to check on things if there are any problems that arise. We used him for our backyard landscaping and are very happy. We look forward to using his company this spring for the front yard redo.

This is the 3rd company I've hired & absolutely the BEST. Pete enlarged flower bed, put down weed barrier & planted a large assortment of plants. I left it up to him to choose the plants & he did an amazing job picking ones with lots of color like i wanted. I'm amazed every time i look out because it looks so beautiful. He also had to put in more soil where he removed grass to enlarge the bed & when he was finished with the project he put in new red mulch. If you want a superior company and a fantastic job call Baytown Landscaping. Pete Sekul will do you right.
