+ -1 moreI was on vacation and my Ac was out my kids were home with 90 plus weather .I called Dorsey and within a couple of hours he was at my place diagnosing my ac. He called me gave me an estimate and ordered my part 3 days later ac is working fine. Highly recommended

+ -1 moreLast year we had a new system put in by another dealer. He put in a unit that was too small. Joe has come out several times in the past week. He has even stopped by later in the day to make sure everything was working properly. He has called numerous times to make sure everything is ok. Even though the unit is a size too small for my home, Joe has it running quite well and my home is staying at 75 rather than 80. We are thinking of making a couple more changes in the next few months for it to be more efficient and Joe is who I am calling to take care of it. Cannot be happier with the cost, his work, and that he constantly stays in touch. Although we did not need it, I did have him put a Nest thermostat on for me. We are very happy with it.

Description of Work: My heat pump is less than two years old. It went out on Friday, September 28, 2012. I called the company that installed the unit and had to leave a message. No one called back and I called in the afternoon. No one called back. I called the other company that had just been out three weeks before and they would not come out. On Saturday afternoon it was very uncomfortable so I checked my neighborhood newsletter and found the Joe Dorsey advertisement. I called him around 4:00 p.m. and he said he would be over right away. He came over and worked until well after dark. Determined the problem, fixed it and showed me what needed to be replaced to fix the problem. Joe Dorsey looked through my heat pump paperwork and found that the replacement part was under warrenty. Joe Dorsey came by on Tuesday, took the bad part out, replaced it with the new part and put the unit in perfect working shape. He drove back and forth to Orlando to get this replacement part. Joe Dorsey is a professional all the way. His work ethic is A-1 and he is a master at his trade. There is not a doubt in my mind that if I had not called Joe Dorsey Air Conditioning, I would still be having a problem with this unit. The company that installed it should have seen this problem before it left their company, the A/C company that came here the first time the unit stopped running, loaded it with three pounds of gas and called it fixed should have seen the problem. When it broke again Joe came here and spent time checking why it had lost all that gas in a little over three weeks, found the problem and made it perfect. There will never be another Heating/AC service done on my unit unless it is Joe Dorsey. I would have saved a lot of money and stressful frustration if I had called Joe Dorsey first.

Description of Work: My air conditioner stopped working this afternoon (Saturday). I called Dorsey Air and the owner was here within the hour and repaired my unit. Thanks for coming this afternoon and repairing the air conditioner . The house is cool again! Great service!

+ -1 moreMr dorsey was on time, polite, and energetic. Our problem was the unit would run, then cut out or throw the breaker. He checked all the items with his meter eliminating them one by one. He discovered that the fan relay was bad and replaced it. Then checked out the rest of the system and pronounced it in excellent shape for one of its age.
Description of Work: Replaced relay switch on A/C Unit and did preventive maintenance.
