I purchased a "new construction" Toll Brother's home and closed on April 28, 2022. Southern Scapes was the sub contractor used for the landscaping. Unfortunately, our backyard was not properly graded and there is a significant steep decline with some sort of a water "runoff" (as told to us). This runoff has burned our newly planted lawn, caused our patio foundation to be exposed, and also has created two large holes, both measuring at least 12+ inches wide. Having two young children (ages 5 & 8) and a senior retired service dog, I am very concerned about the hazard that exists in my yard. If my children are playing or my dog is running around the yard, it's extremely likely that one will step into the holes and get injured. When I have guests at the house, I'm forced to place chairs over the areas to avoid any injuries to their children while they are playing in my backyard. Although this issue was documented prior to closing on April 28, nothing has been done to correct the problem. In August 2022, a representative finally came out and determined that a mesh netting (to prevent run off/ erosion) will need to be installed and the lawn/ dirt will be replaced. Southern Scapes was scheduled to make the repairs on Oct 5, 2022 but, again, never showed up. I have reached out to both Jeff (Construction Manager) and Chris (Warranty Manager) and Jake (VP of production) but unfortunately they say Southern Scapes, has yet to call them back or even try to fix the hazardous condition. Waiting over 6 months for something that should have be done prior to closing is unacceptable! All I want is the repairs to be completed!!!

Team Leader: Tommy A+ Team: B+ Tommy ensured every detail was covered. In his absence due to other commitments the team was led by the second in charge, a few bumps, two cuts lines; Cable and Telephone, though the lines were marked apparent. In the end Tommy arrived back at the job site during the 90% completion phase; ensuring everything was corrected, repairs made and properly aligning said system. The only gripe I have was the loss of the Team leader at the early onset of the installation which led to the aforementioned, all-in-all I would definitely hire Tommy, and his team again for this type of service. Overall score A- Update: Here it is weeks later, the system is humming along!

They did an absolutely fabulous job. We highly recommend them to anybody. The people that they brought to work were just as courteous as they could possibly be. The work that they did was fabulous to all the plants and all that kind of stuff in the preparation of work. I could not think of anything that I would have them do in a different way. Their pricing was not cheap but it was a great value. The quality of their work was the very best. They were here when they said that they were going to be here, got to work and completed it on schedule. They were also very professional.

It went well. They came when they said they would.
