Description of Work: Removed 11 pine trees from yard

Description of Work: Before I selected this company, I asked about 100% replacement insurance because one tree was overhanging my screened in patio. Wally, the supposed co-owner, provided an insurance document showing 1 Million coverage and assured me that if they did damage my room, they would cover all repairs, I had nothing to worry about. They removed 7 trees from back yard and sure enough they dropped one tree on my screened in patio, damaging the whole roof. After calling his insurance company myself to start a claim, I was informed that the real owner, Jim, did not have 100% replacement insurance but pro-rated insurance. Jim came out himself and looked at the damage and informed me that since my roof was 10 years old I did not deserve a new roof! After many estimates, arguments with Jim, (who loved to show up at my front door knowing I was at work to intimidate my wife, I finally had a new roof. Cost me several hundred dollars out of my own pocket, which Jim promised to pay me back for and never did. The job itself was done poorly, I had to rent a stump grinder and a tractor to finish the work myself. I have pictures and documentation if anyone has questions.

Description of Work: I had one monstrous sycamore tree completely removed including the stump ground down. I had an oak tree removed and another trimmed. The price was very good but I don't care to share the exact amount.

Description of Work: Had them remove a tree that overhung my home and my neighbor's. I've used them before. I didn't want to use again because they did not completely grind a stump the first time and they would not return my phone calls asking them to come back out and finish the first job. They also left huge sections of my tree in the yard for several days, after grinding and removing the limbs. I had to tell them that if they didn't come back and remove the trunk they left in the front yard I wouldn't pay them. They came right out. But, since their bid was over $1000 cheaper than any competitor, my neighbor wanted to use them, against my objection. However, since we shared the tree I went along with it. Here's what they did the second time- they decided to grind the stump they left behind the first time. That was great. Unfortunately they ruined $40 worth of soaker hoses in my yard in the process. They told my wife "we owe you a soaker hose." They never replaced them and when I called them they acted like they knew nothing about it and said that wasn't their responsibility anyway. They did grind the stump of the second tree they cut down. Unfortunately, they ruined my neighbor's underground wiring in the process. They did NOT haul away the sawdust and mulch from the ground stump. It was about 6 feet in diameter, so it was quite sizable. I spent hours out there bagging up the mulch. greater than 30 full size garden trashbags and I still left a lot behind. My impression is you get what you pay for. I will not use again.

Description of Work: Wally from the company came out and gave me a comprehensive free estimate to cut down and remove what we wanted removed of 13 trees, at various locations on the property. Most were hickory and cherry and some big gum trees. Once the job started, they came out and cut down the specified trees. They worked full long days each day. They mulched and removed what we wanted removed and left the trees we wanted to keep. The trees ranged from probably 30 feet to 50 feet high. They brought out a crane one day to remove the trees closest to the house. When finished, they cleaned up after their work and not only fixed any driveway issues from their big vehicles, to leaf-blowing the entire deck and roof of the house! Fantastic job, fantastic company, fantastic crew, and fantastic management!

Description of Work: They cut down a tree that was 120 ft. tall.

Description of Work: American Tree Surgeons removed several large trees, several medium trees, a number of smaller trees, ground stumps, trimmed a number of trees and cleaned up. They were timely in their scheduling and completing the work. They also demolished a shed and tore up an old concrete driveway and hauled away the debris.
