Description of Work: I've been using Chris for repairs around my home and two rental units for about ten years and I've never been disappointed by his work. Chris is one of those rare individuals who seems to be able to fix anything and do it right the first time. Over the years I've had him repair wood rot, replace exterior doors, replace interior doors, install ceiling fans, install kitchen and bathroom sinks and faucets, repair leaky roofs, repair fences and on and on. You hire Chris and you get Chris. When he says he will be there, he's there and the job gets done correctly. In all the years I've known him, I can't think of a time I've had to call him back for a follow up for a repair. But if I did call him, I know he would respond without delay. Chris takes great pride in his workmanship and has as strong a work ethic as I've seen in a contractor. He is always my go to guy for problems around my house and my rental properties.

Description of Work: Chris painted bathroom walls and vanity, a fireplace and a den that had been wallpapered. I thought the wallpaper would have to be removed, but after a good look by Chris he said he could do it without removing the wallpaper. It turned out terrific.

 + -1 moreThe top and bottom of the safety bar installed in the main bath did not line up properly. The bottom hole splintered the fiberglass of the bathtub enclosure. I don't think this person had much experience installing bathroom fixtures. I was not at home at the time of the installation. My husband who is 83 years old in poor health was at home at the time.
Description of Work: Installed one safety bar in main bath. Assisted in enlarging one hole in safety bar shower stall installation that my husband had started. My husband had drilled other 3 holes. This was done without a problem.

He returned my calls less than 20 minutes after I left a message and came to my house to provide an estimate the very day I first called. He started and completed the job within two and a half hours, and this was done within three days of me accepting his estimate. The fence was repaired properly and the gate looks fantastic. He also took the time to do a quick repair on an exterior door that was having water come in from the bottom at no extra charge. The price was excellent as well. Chris quoted the job at almost half the cost of what my insurance adjustor estimated it would be. Fast, professional, and decently priced - I will definitely be using Chris's services in the future!

He looked at the sagging fence, etc. Provided an estimate $150 (labor and materials). Came back 1 hour later with supplies needed. Installed new fence post next to sagging post, nailed/screwed loose slats to new post. Replaced pavers that had to be removed to install new post. Completely cleaned up area impacted.
