About us

We are a family owned and operated company. CLASS A AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACTOR LICENSE NUMBER - CAC043887. We have 10 employees as of May 2015. Our employees do all of the work involved in air conditioning & heating. We only hire subcontractors such as licensed Electricians to do work that we are not licensed to do. Our diagnostic charge is $64 & when gas prices go up we charge a $2 to $5 fuel charge, based on the price of gas. We charge $74 for a Precision Tune Up. Our tune ups are very thorough and usually take from an hour to an hour and 1/2 to complete. We also have residential & commercial maintenance agreements. We have flat rate pricing so that you will pay the same for a service, no matter which technician completes the job. Ken has been in air conditioning for about 31 years. Mardi has a Finance and Accounting background and has worked with Ken since 1990 in the air condidioning business.

Description of Work: I had Ken Hope A/C come out for an annual tune-up today. First, it was only $59, which is a great deal. They offer a credit off their normal price of $74 depending on how early in the year you have the service done. Their technicians are always on time, professional and courteous. I feel confident these guys are honest and wiil never suggest services I don't absolutely need. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: After a large party at my house, my AC stopped working. I called Ken Hope and they came out the next day, found the problem and fixed it. They were polite and did not tack on unreasonable charges. My freon was low and due to the open patio door, had some freezing. It is working great now.

They don't seem to push things on you. My heating and air conditioning has been in need of repair for some time and they have been helping me keep it going until I saved up enough money. They worked with me on what my objectives were, and when it finally quit, they replaced it. They are flexible and work with you. They have always serviced my equipment and they clean up after themselves. They have always been polite, courteous and respectful. The only thing that I don't like is that they are not available on weekends and holidays.
Description of Work: Ken Hope Air Conditioning & Heating replaced the compressor and air handler. It is a mom-and-pop operation and I have been using them for eight years.

Our office is not open on weekends & holidays. However, we always have a technician available, on call, for service calls & emergencies. They work until 5 p.m. on Saturdays & 3 p.m. on Sundays.

Ken Hope was very quick to respond and repaired it very quickly. They were responsive and we have not had a problem since they came out. On top of that, they are very reasonable with their pricing.
