The Floor Store at Thornebrook Village

Genevieve was the salesperson and followed up with us beautifully. Milad is the owner and came to our home to measure and talk with us about what we could expect. We love the flooring. We would have loved having real hardwood if it didn't scratch but we have a dog and a cat and didn't want to have scratched floors. This Armstrong floor holds up to all kinds of activities. The job went smoothly and everything looks great. Everything that Milad promised as far as timing, quality and costs came true. Thanks Milad.

Visited store when it first opened last year and liked it lots. Met Janna Cortina and found her very responsive and informed-- she was a great help w/ choices and planning. I have absolutely no experience in this area--didn't know what material I wanted or what was suitable, but Janna and Milad Meftah worked w/me to bring the project together. After Janna helped me narrow things down to a few choices (some wood, some tile, some cork), Milad brought samples to the house and discussed each option w/me. I decided on a porcelain tile that is cut like floor planking and looks like wood flooring. Next I got 3 estimates for project (which went from 3 areas to 5 areas in size). I was very worried about this project, as it was so much money, and my experience in finding credible services in the trades in Gainesville--people who will do what they say they will and stand behind their work w/pride has been an ongoing problem. Though The Floor Store's estimate was the highest, it was still in the ballpark, and I decided to go w/them because of the personal attention and service I had already received from Janna & Milad.. We decided to do the project in 2 parts separated by a couple of weeks because of planned travel on my part. Installation had a few hitches, some in timing, some in surface prep (had to grind one floor, which I was told at outset might be the case--extra charge and time, but not a surprise). There was also a problem w/grout color that took a some time, exploration, & patience on all sides, but was resolved 100% to my satisfaction. The project was larger than originally planned, and took 2 full weeks to complete (1 week for each phase). Our tile was installed to perfection by the subcontractor (Dreggors). We have ~ 800 sq ft of tile left over--more than needed to keep on hand for repairs, and this is the one place we think some savings could have been realized. However, we are very pleased with our floors, and think the money was well-spent. If the Floor Store of Gainesville continues to offer such quality products & honest, personalized customer service and continues to use talented and experienced subcontractors when needed, they should do very well in this area! Thank you, Janna & Milad, for our gorgeous, practical, easy-to-care-for new floors! We've been living w/them for a couple of months now, and love them more every day, and get rave reviews from all who see them!
