Overall, I was pleased with most of the work except for the gardening element which was poor. When they raised the rate for this, the quality declined even further. The last straw was when I was charged an extra $23 to clean out a sprinkler head.

These folks are excellent. They aren’t quick, but once I saw how they carefully managed everything it made sense. The estimator was very good. The workmen were very good. The coordination was excellent. The price was fair. Better than it could have been. We will use them again. We found them through a neighbor’s recommendation. And we’d recommend them to other neighbors, besides using them again soon. Like, we already have them coming out. Thanks!

They came out as promised and examined the damage to the house. They then returned an estimate that was twice as high as the next highest bid.

Unfortunately, I submitted a request for an estimate on a number of repairs, but never received a response from the provider.

The carpenter was great. Very neat, cleaned up after job was done. Arrived on time, stayed until finished.

I went through 5 yard maintenance companies before finding Southern Comfort, and Southern Comfort is the only company that's been 100% reliable and proactive with taking care of the yard. They actually maintain the yard, rather than "mow and blow," and the plants and grass are starting to thrive again. They also notify me of problems with the house and reliably fix any problems. I'm really grateful to have them taking care of my property.

We hired this company following the recommendation of a friend of ours and we needed to get our house repaired as we were going to list it on the real estate market for selling. Southern comfort home repair was able to remove alot of old wallpaper in both my kitchen and dining nook areas. They were able to do drywall repair in several spots in the house, and very good at repainting some of the bedrooms and kitchen areas. They were able to remove alot of woodrot noted throughout the exterior of the home and replaced it and painted it adequately. What I really like about this company is that they are a 1-stop service. They can get a home repaired and staged as needed. You would not have to go through several individual subcontractors, as they take care of it all. Their price was overall okay, there was alot of old wallpaper which was painstaking in terms of removal and had some high wall ceilings they had to contend with to do it. These guys pretty much handle everything including electrical repairs, plumbing, and whatever it takes to get your home ready. The only thing was that the progect did run over the expected time of completion by about 1-2 weeks and I needed to keep calling them to remove a keylock on the front door following completion of the progect. But this did not have much adverse effect as I was still able to list the house in time for the selling season.

They were awesome! It was a really great experience. Everything that they said they did, they were super professional, they were on time, and they did the work that they said they were going to do. I think their work was good.

They are not cheap but they are reliable. They are going to whatever they say they will do and do it well. If I have any minor repairs, they are the first people I call.

This company was really wonderful and a HUGE help in getting our house sold. We were living in WA state with a house in FL that needed some fixes (we had been renting it) in order to even get it market-ready.

First, they said they would come out but I had to make an extra call to remind them. They sent out 2 people who were working for Southern Comfort in our neighborhood. These 2 people where very polite knew nothing about windows; all they could do was take measurements. I followed up by phone call and was told their supplier was on vacation for over a week, and he was the only person who could give them a price. I called back 2 more times and was told the window man was very busy and he had not given them a price. After that call, I started looking for other people to do the job. In my search I came across the only window man who could give Southern Comfort a price. This person told me he had only been out of town for a weekend and that he had told this company weeks ago that this job required some extra work and it was not going to be easy, so he was not interested. I appreciate and understand his honesty, But Southern Comfort never got back me to tell me they could not or would not do the job. I wasted weeks waiting for them to reply. They never called me back; I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

A few years ago they did a number of jobs around the outside of the house repairing the deck, front porch and roof and cleaning out brush. They were efficient, on time, and in general did a good job. I had to call them back to do a bit more clearing the yard - but there was no problem with getting what I wanted done in the end. I believe different groups were contracted out by the main office. Communication with the main office staff was also very good. They communicated rapidly by e-mail and provided written quotes for all the work. The price was reasonable.

The experience has gone very well. Their services are incredibly versatile, including basic yard work. Once, we had a wooden deck demolished by them. They've been very easy to work with overall and they've always been able to do what I've asked.

Diagnosed and fixed the problem. All work done on time and as described. I was not happy with the screen repair and the issue was dealt with right away and fixed.

The experience working with them has been good. They were on time and did everything they said they would.

They seemed organized and professional. Remodel 2 of my homes. Did a fair job but were a little sloppy on some of there work. They did not want to come back and fix some of the stuff that didn't work quite right. My main beef was that they put new flooring in and didn't replace the sub flooring all the way. Now the old particle board underneath the new laminate flooring is rotting away. We had to go under the house to sure up old spots that they didn't put new plywood in, costing me alot more money. I'm going to have to take up all the laminate flooring to put new wood in where they should have done in the first place. My renter moved out because she was falling thru the flooring in spots. I'm so p*****!

So Co are great problem solvers. Very responsive to our needs. When some repairs turned out to involve more siding replacement they worked us into the schedule in a timely manner. Good communication. Would gladly work with them again. Definitely will as repairs arise.
