Not only did Joe Vasquez, Owner, and his team arrive early to scheduled time, but began work @0800 and worked entire day with exception of lunch break. This retired Marine that served our country for 31 years, did a walk-through with me to assure that the contracted work was precisely understood to give direction to his crew. The team began their work with the removal of the large laurel oak close to my home and hours later completed the removal with no more than a few leaves coming near the roof. This was a climbing job as the heavy equipment could not be placed in the rear yard. The crew moved all of the trees and pruning forward to the street where it was ground into wood chips. The team sought my consul on several occasions to make certain that the job was progressing as I had expected. The final touch was the removal of every twig and leaf from the property, first blowing the roof and next the driveway and the circle in front of my home. They also removed a pile of trimmings that I had near my butterfly garden that was not an expectation nor in the contract. Amazing! i've had tree work performed in various homesites and mountain land clearing in our US, East, West, North and South and have never had a service from professional folks that love trees, prune correctly and take pride in their work like SkyFrog. JoeV checked with me at the end of the job to assure that I was pleased with the work. I would highly recommend SkyFrog over any other tree service in Gainesville or Alachua County. It is the only tree company that provides proper current insurance and bond for their work, provides copies of same without asking and encourages clients to call and check on currency of coverage. They also are the only company that drug tests their team in the field, properly climbs tree without spikes that injure trees and has the expectation that all team members are highly qualified and represent the high quality of SkyFrog services.

They are a professional team. They worked like a well oiled machine. Each person carried out their responsibilities through the whole process. Mgmt. played an important roll by going over the whole job with the staff before the job started. All equipment used appeared to be in top notch condition and performed flawlessly. It was apparent to me that employee safety is a high priority in this company. Each person who worked on this job appeared to be outfitted for the job they performed. The cost for the work they performed was appropriate for the magnitude of the job.

Skyfrog is great. We needed to have six trees removed from our property. Two were extremely large (+80 feet high and +3 feet diameter at the base). The other four were also large. One was within ten feet of our house. They did a wonderful job. The job was delayed several times due to rainy weather but John (very nice young man) kept in touch with us all along the way. The trunks/limbs were removed before the end of the day (a Friday) and returned on Monday to grind the stumps. While the cost was by no means cheap, it was a difficult job and I believe we received good value. I wouldn't hesitate to use Skyfrog again and would recommend them to my friends.

We have received professional tree service from SkyFrog several times on our property. They have always gone above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with the results. Their staff members are always courteous and respectful. Their work is superior to others and very neat! I highly recommend them to anyone at needing work completed!!!

The whole crew arrived on time at daybreak. Several men removed a large tree trunk, a pine tree and a large offshoot limb from a water oak. Several large dead limbs were removed from other trees. A large cherry picker was used to go high up a tree close to the house to clean off a lot of dead wood and allow air to flow through it. Two stumps were sawed off close to the ground. They cleaned up the lot and were done in two hours.

They arrived promptly and seemed very professional, but their estimate for tree removal, and it was extensive because I plan on getting solar panels, was $2000 more than the company I contracted.

Skyfrog was very professional. My husband works nights, and therefore sleeps during the day, and the company was very accommodating in scheduling the services around his work schedule. Work was performed on Friday afternoon and the clean-up truck came Monday morning.

Sky frog has the most professional group of workers I've ever seen. They are very efficient, polite and take pride in their work. They work quickly but very safely and clean up after themselves well. We have used them twice and will be using them again if needed.

these guys were tremendous. good communication with owner John who coordinated with him to have service done when I was available. the team of cutters were really impressive, a real team at work. the crew arrived on time, did a magnificent job of trimming the oak tree branches and went much beyond what I expected to stack the limbs and debris. The company was excellent too in honoring the Angie's List discount (thanks Angie's!!) Really a pleasure to work with this company. We talked about some jobs in the months to come as well as there are other trimming needs on the property.

Very careful and attentive consultation to help us determine which trees needed to be trimmed and/or removed from our yard - extremely knowledgeable and customer-oriented; well-educated about trees, plants, and ecosystems and truly seemed to care about the profession. Amazing tree extraction- impressive to watch! Trimmed trees look natural and well balanced, not butchered. Good clean-up and inexpensive compared with other estimates and friends' experiences with other services. Highly recommended!

We had a large water oak in our front yard that was diseased and that would have ultimately been a threat to our house. Skyfrog took the lead in getting us the permit that was required by the city (which is not always a simple process here). They were a day later arriving than they'd indicated to us, but on the day they did arrive they were here early with enough people and equipment that they had the tree down and all the debris removed in the course of just a few hours. Because they had the appropriate cranes and knew how to use them, they barely disturbed anything at all in our landscaped front yard. Everything was hoisted directly into the street and into the "shredder from h***". It wasn't exactly cheap, but we certainly got everything we paid for. Aside from that minor bobble of being a day late arriving, they were incredible. They definitely make the top two companies that have done work for us since we moved here 7+ years ago.

We had a dying tree close to our house which was becoming more of a concern to our safety everyday. The 100+ft tree died very quickly. I contacted Skyfrog and they were out within 30 minutes to give me an estimate. After coming out to look at the tree for an estimate, they also determined I had a dangerous tree and changed their schedule to come out the next morning to remove the tree. The morning of the tree removal, they said they would be there at 730am, and true to their word, they looked like the Marines coming down the street toward my home. They had six to eight men arrive and immediately got set up and determine how to get the tree down. They got the equipment into place and within 30 minutes of arrival began taking the tree down. They were very impressive to watch, every individual had a job and was busy working. They had that scary tree on the ground within 3hours And through out the entire removal, I was never concerned they would hit my house. They had all the chipping of the branches and clean up done within 4 hours. They removed all the debris from the tree from the property. They asked me if I wanted the wood chips, which I did, so they left them for me and even spread them for me since I wanted them in my driveway. I was so impressed, every member of the crew was very professional and respectful of my property. In my opinion, they went over and beyond the scope of the job, without even asking other members of trimmed the limbs of the other trees, especially all of those limbs that were to high for me to trim. The owner spent time with me discussing some of the other trees I have concerns with. They went over and beyond my expectations, I will definitely call Skyfrog Tree Service for all of my tree service needs in the future.

Skyfrog did an excellent job on the tree removal in our backyard. Highly impressed with their crew and professionalism. They completed all of our work in about 5 hours, then the stump grinder came about 10 days later to finish up. They have an extensive array of equipment , and most importantly, they were very mindful of our sprinkler system, which was a major concern for my husband. Only down side was it took 7 weeks from their initial estimate to get the work done, but they were worth the wait. So glad I chose them to do our work!

The crews arrived promptly when they said they would. We had concerns that the weight of a bucket truck might crack our driveway and we didn't want a bobcat destroying our yard; and so all work was done by climbers suspended from ropes. They worked one full day plus most of the following morning. The supervisor returned several days later to assure my satisfaction and collect their check.

We thought this tree was too far gone due to our neglect and lack of knowledge. When bringing in Skyfrog we were looking for an estimate to cut down and remove large tree. Skyfrog advised that he believed he could save the tree. He has done just that and provides ongoing maintenance to keep the tree healthy. All work done in a timely fashion and cut branches and garbage hauled off. Highly recommend and will use at my home when I need personal tree services.

Sky frog is the best tree surgeon I have ever dealt with. I have gotten estimates from other companies, and had one tree taken down about 15 years ago by another company. Sky frog is punctual, honest (they will recommend work not be done if they feel it doesn't need to be done), professional and very reasonably priced. The crews are very polite and respectful. Great work. Great clean-up. Great communication. They are in my speed dial!

They came right out very punctual when I called for an estimate. They did not show up the day they were supposed to. Then we had rain which I can't fault them for but it took awhile for them to get out to get the job done. The stumps were left undone for about a month, even with repeated prompting! Very frustrating experience overall. Would not call them again, even though the job eventually got done.

Crew was amazing. Professional and personable. They work hard! And fast! Third and best tree service I have used.

Am happy with Skyfrog and plan to use the company in the future. They provided an estimate and the price was fair. They arrived on time and promptly cut the tree, removed all branches, and didn't disturb the grass or surrounding plants.

SkyFrog has done a lot of work for us in the past 1-2 years, including tree removal, landscaping, irrigation repair, etc. I have nothing but great things to say about them. They deliver work as promised, offer good quality materials, and are very informative, friendly, and professional. They are expensive, no doubt, but the quality is outstanding. They take great pride in getting things done right and to the customer's specifications. Best tree/lanscaping business in Gainesville, in my experience.

Fantastic company. They went above expectations, from the first phone call to completion of the work. Wonderful staff and owner. Very professional. EXCELLENT! There were a group of six men on the job. One was the owner of the company. Everyone worked very safely, efficiently and quickly. Clean up was superb also. Could not ask for better in all aspects. I had total peace of mind with their work performance and safety. This is the third time I have used this company and would not use anyone else.

They did an excellent job, completing all work in one morning. They removed all the debris, raked up the area and even stacked some firewood. I would highly recommend for tree service.
