+ -1 moreSales rep was very professional and clear but the sales presentation on the history of Sears was just too time-consuming and did not add any swaying factor in my decision. I wished I had known in advance that there will be a 2 hour long sales pitch. I could have been better prepared for it or not asked for an estimate from Sears at all.
Description of Work: Got an estimate from a sales rep from Sears. The estimate process took 2 hours because I had to sit through a long presentation on the history of Sears, all the day from 1886 onwards. I understand that this is a standard procedure established by Sears for their sales rep, but I was not prepared for such a long time commitment. The sales rep did bring demo windows and other tools to show me the type of windows that they used and was very professional. But ultimately, the price quoted by Sears is 40-50% more expensive than other quotes that I have gotten from other companies, with the same lifetime warranty that is offered by Sears.

+ -1 moreI love their appliances. We have had good luck with them. We did not shop around and went to Sears because we wanted to stick to our budget. We had a person help us and he was really good. The price also included delivering the goods and installing them.
Description of Work: We bought a lot of appliances for the kitchen from Sears Roebuck & Co in August. We got a fridge, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. They had an offer. So every other product we bought I got a discount. I got a rebate check for $2000.
