I have been looking for ways to save money and increase uptime on my network. I found PWH's website a while back and had them come do some work for me....at that time, while the tech was fixing my computer, he explained to me about virtualization.This sounded like what might fit my needs, so I gave them a call. The owners are prior service so I get a good vibe from them right off the bat. They explained in detail virtualization and hosting and the benefits and I was sold. I had them come out to do the site survey (free of charge) and we agreed on what needed to be done, discussed the cost and they provided me a written quote right then and there. A few days later, they came out with the ESX server built nd "virtualized" my server and desktops. They demonstrated the entire system, Showed me how "high availability worked" and how to use it and had a tech there for the next morning when my staff came in. The overall experience was good enough that I have also contracted them for managed services support.

I work from home and use my computer to make my living. I was working saturday and I had a power surge that killed my machine. I called serveral other companies and none of them were able to come out until Monday. When I called PWH, a person answered the phone. He was friendly and listened to my problem. He said that he would have someone back in touch with me within an hour. 10 minutes later, I got a call back and it was a tech that was going to come out. He was there within the hour and had the problem fixed 30 minutes after that. The tech was firendly, very professional and had a personality (something you don't often find with IT people). He showed me what he was doing and how he came to the conclusions he did about what was wrong. he replaced the power supply and hard drive reinstalled Windows XP and Office. The hourly rate was significantly less than other companies I have used in Gainesville and the tech waived the after hours rate which was still less than the other companies I have used. This one's a keeper.
