At neighbors' recommendations, I contacted McFall to remodel my three bathrooms. I am so glad that I selected them instead of another company, which is larger but did not put a personal touch on their business. All the McFall crew members seemed to care about their work and wanted to do things right. The project manager Lane Turner was responsive, patient, honest, and trying to help above and beyond throughout the process. He was the soul of the project (and I hope he will become a partner of the company instead of simply an employee). The tile person and the cabinet guy were the best in their trades. The painters Shawn and Dustin were meticulous and friendly. After their work, I felt that hiring anybody else would have been a downgrade. McFall use top-quality subcontractors, for example, Central State Glass, Magma Granite & Marble, and FD Tile. My family and I are very satisfied with the finished bathrooms and grateful to McFall for improving the quality of our life. I would highly recommend McFall to anyone.

Michael McFall and his team were very responsive to our needs from bidding to completion. They always called, explained what was being done, and how long it would take to be completed. They stand behind their work and that meant a lot to me. I have used them once before to replace a roof on my house. I have been fully satisfied with their professionalism and service, and would hire them again.

Excellent. Crew showed up on time each day. Worked hard. Clean, Neat. Quiet (as possible). Respectful. Foreman kept me informed as to progress. Thorough cleanup when finished.

I have a small house/roof with one skylight, and I had the existing shingle roof replaced with a new shingle roof and new skylight. Lots of water damage required replacement of maybe 1/3 of the decking as well as some of the fascia. Despite the extra work required, McFall had the entire thing done in a day and a half. I picked McFall because they had good ratings, and of the 4 companies I contacted they were the most modern, organized and professional. They were eager to do the work, did not go out of their way to badmouth their competition, and were respectful of my home. They were a little more expensive than other outfits and maybe if I had a larger roof it would have been too expensive - hard to say. But I'm very pleased and will happily recommend McFall to anyone.

The inspection and bid process was very professional and timely. There was a bit of a delay in starting work due to workload as “end of March, beginning of April” turned into the middle-end of April. A lot of that can be credited to unreliable spring weather however. I got worried I had gotten lost in the shuffle but the office was very polite when I called to check up and explained the delay. Once the time came close, Melissa in the office kept us informed of exact start time and what they needed as they showed up. Once work started they were very professional and focused. They cleaned up daily and completed the job quickly even though they encountered more damage than originally thought. Walk down and final inspection were completed in the next few days and besides the nice new roof you would have otherwise never known they were here. I whole-heartedly recommend Mike McFall and McFall Builders to anyone needing roof work.

Poorly; work looked good but things leaked and broke as soon as the warranty expired.

Not well. I never heard back from the siding estimator and the roof estimate was higher than other capable roofers.

I'd say his price was average. The quality was outstanding.

McFall Builders was very professional from providing estimates to completing the work. They were responsive to emails, texts and phone calls during the jobs. They use great tradespeople and offer options for quality of finishes (Do you want the Cadillac, Ford or Kia or front doors?) They did the right thing when no one was looking and fixed any mistakes when pointed out (just a couple due more to communications.)

Kerry, in their office, then followed through to make sure all was OK. We then made an appointment with their estimator to solve the problems. I was given good advice and a reasonable bid. Kerry explained that until the rains stopped, leave the tarping on the roof until the weather dries out because they need to tear off other roof and let it dry out before they can proceed. Kerry was very kind and friendly and calmed my major concerns that the ceiling was going to fall. Thanks so much.

Like clockwork....The removal of old roofing tiles and underlayment, and installation of new and better underlayment and roofing tiles, and the new flat roofing section, plus the ongoing cleanup, took approximately a day and a half. And comes with an excellent work guarantee and roofing warranty. The cost was quite reasonable, and the relationship with McFall personnel during the process was tops. Highly recommended.

The crew's preparation work after removing the old shingles was impressive. Product quality seems to be really good. Office staff were responsive and helpful.

McFall Roofing performed a new roof replacement that was required by the lender and paid through loan closing proceeds. They did a great job for a competitive quote. I would certainly use them again.

Since we needed to roof two homes, they brought two crews and each job was done separately. The entire process was very professional and actually very fast. The crew for this house caught a little bit of a break in that the roof is not steep, it just has a simply gable roof on a ranch-style home. This crew was top-notch, they cleaned up the job site everyday and also rolled a magnet over the area daily to keep the area free of nails. I am very happy with the end product and I feel very confident that the McFall family will fully stand behind their warranty. I highly recommend this family for building or roofing projects.

The roofing job came off without a hitch. The crew was very professional and hardworking. They had to replace some wood around the dormer, but their were no hidden surprise costs. Extra wood is figured into the cost of the roof. I paid them exactly the agreed upon amount. I'm not sure everyone realizes how rare that is in the building industry. There are almost always add-on costs. The only con in dealing with this crew is that the foreman is not really serious about keeping nails cleaned up. He could do a much better job of that. We live on a farm, so nails in tractor tires would be a huge problem. We have our own rolling magnet and we picked up our own nails.

A week prior to the scheduled start date, we were informed that there would be a one-day slip. The day prior to start, vendors delivered the materials needed for the installation. The McFall work trailer was parked on the street in front of the house. The day of the installation, a Porta-Pot and a dumpster were delivered and the Gainesville Building Permit posted. Workers arrived at 7:30 AM and quietly staged protective tarps over all the shrubbery adjacent to the house. At eight, shingles were being scraped off and the job was underway. It took two-and-a-half days from start to completion. On day one, the old shingles were removed, damaged decking was replaced, installed decking planks were re-nailed as required, openings for prior roof turbines and furnace were filled in, ridge vent opening cut, and peel-and-stick underlayment was installed. At the end of this day, there was no exposed roofing. We were safe from rain. The next day, radiant barrier insulation was laid down and 1?x4? perlins (wooden nailers to raise metal for additional insulation) installed. The metal roofing had been premeasured and cut to size before delivery. Each roofing panel was predrilled for the stainless steel screws to that when installed on the roof, each screw seated firmly and wasn?t omitted. The overlapping edge of each metal was fitted with butyl tape sealant. Replacement Sun-Tek CMG II skylights were installed. As in previous days, all debris was removed and a bar magnet rolled over the grounds to find stray fasteners. The last day, the final roofing panels were installed, the ridge vent installation was completed, gutters refastened as necessary and their leaf guards reinstalled. Our two storage buildings then received matching metal roofing. Mike McFall came by each day to check on progress and to see if there were any problems. Included in the contract cost was a wind mitigation inspection in which a professional inspects and prepares a report to be submitted to our insurer, undoubtedly resulting in lower homeowner insurance cost. I enthusiastically recommend McFall Residential Roofing.

Because the hurricane damaged many homes in our area, we had a handyman temporarily weatherproof our home and do some carpentry work while we evaluated roofers and arranged roofing work. All our contacts with McFall Roofing personnel were positive. Jesse Dean evaluated and explained the roofing contract clearly; the secretary/scheduler, Cari Nipper, arranged details including giving us addresses of local clients where we could see roof shingles in colors we were considering (a big help with our decision); Michael McFall and his assistant Jonathan supervised often throughout the three day project. The workmen were friendly, quiet as they could be, and worked steadily, cleaning up after themselves every afternoon. There were three panels of new roof decking installed to replace rotten wood. The owner, Martin McFall, came with Michael to see how the work was progressing. We were very pleased every step of the way and are happy with our new roof. C. Johnson

Excellent communication. Timelines met. Cost was fair. Excellent craftsmanship. All permits were obtained, a commercial trash truckbed was delivered, a port-a-potty was available for the workers. Inspections went like clockwork. The integrity of the McFall family cannot be matched. McFall builders also replaced our wood siding with Hardi-Plank. That was prior to the roof in 2013. Now, they are re-modeling the back porch. (The same porch that had its roof brought to code in 2013.) They replaced the load-bearing posts one-by-one to keep the roof in-tact Then replaced everything from the slab up. The Hardi-Plank on the new porch was painted to match the H.P. done prior to 2013. They are also replacing the French Doors leading out to the porch with a Pella sliding door. We are looking forward to our next projects with McFall Builders.

They could change their attitude. Both the estimator and the contractors had an attitude towards me, but the quality and end result was good.

I want everyone to know how great these guys are. They went above and beyond what they had to. Michael McFall is a wonderful person to work with. He is most professional and will do anything within reason to be sure you are happy and get a quality product. I would go out of my way to recommend this company. My new roof looks GREAT! I work with a lot of contractors and finding someone who does what they say they will do is difficult these days. I received a quality product in a timely manner.
