Matt's Maintenance & Remodeling

It did not turn out very well. They did good work, but they charged me for an extra hour that they were not there. I spent an extra $180. I would not use them again.

They did great. I want to write a BIG honey do list and have them back. They are punctual, clean and cordial. The shower looks great.

I live in another state, so all contact was throught email and phone. I could not have been any happier with the work. The work was done on time and was exactly as promised. Matt always followed though. He answered all my phone calls and emails propmptly. He made wonderful suggestions on how to get the job done within budget. I would hightly recommend him.

Matt called to say that they would be a little late, as they were on another job that was longer than expected. He was very respectful, asking what needed to be done. He and his crew worked quickly and efficiently, asking at the end that I look over what had been done. It was all done very well.

Matt was very good, very professional and I would definitely have him again. They were prompt, they did a very nice, very professional job and were very professional about the way they handled everything and cleaned up. I was very happy. I found him through Angie’s List and I was really very impressed with Matt.

It went very well. They called about 15min prior to coming over. They were very professional. went straight to work. Explained everything. Installed dishwasher without a problem. Took old one away for us. I do plan on using them again in the future for other handyman type repairs in our home.

Matt was truly professional all the way through. He was on time for estimate, and his crew was clean and professional. The job went a drop past the original estimated finish date, but that can be expected on complex jobs. Matt happily sent his people over to fix anything that may have been overlooked etc.

The quote amount was about $3200. It came very late. It took over a week to get the quote back which I thought was a long time. I ended up going with someone else. They were very polite and seemed to be competent when they were making the measurements. They gave me help with another situation.

I emailed Matt on Wed, Mar 6th(along with 3 other handymen on Angie's List) with the insane request of needing someone right away. I had approx 4 days to complete several projects before the house sold. Matt called me 15 min later!! I explained my situation and he said he could come Friday(2 days later) with a couple of his guys to see what needed to be done. When he got here, he said they'd just go ahead and get everything done then!! He even came to my rescue when the toilet suddenly started leaking and when I was having trouble with the garage door that wouldn't go down!! He didn't hesitate to help and believe me I needed help! Matt and Abe were both very professional, knowledgeable and skilled in everything they did. Matt, I'm grateful and blessed!! Thank you! (ps... I still haven't heard from any of the other handymen I emailed)

Matt and his crew were skilled, professional, courteous, and finished in a timely fashion. We were very happy with the final product, and with their flexibility in accommodating all of our requests along the way. We will definitely call Matt again if we do more work on this house. The price was a bit more than we were originally hoping to pay, but we ran the estimate by a few people who said it seemed reasonable if we felt that we'd be getting high quality work from a trustworthy professional. That was definitely the case...Matt did great work and I would highly recommend him to others.

Matt and his men were excellent. He always followed up. There were some definate problem areas that needed problem solving. Matt talked with me about options, keeping in mind the cost. He completed the work in a timely fashion. When I called him about some mortar that was dripped on the paver bricks he came out the day after I called and removed the splatter. There was not a lot of splatter, but enough that I noticed. He also took off the rough edges of the steps so that my 1 year old grandsons would no longer get scratched when crawling up them. There is still a problem with the laminate bubbling up. He and I discussed options. He wanted to check with other experts in this field to see what would be the most effective way to resolve this problem. He still needs to get back with me on this problem. The man I hired to do the initial installation of the laminate was the only person I hired who was not on Angie's List....I will never so that again. Everyone I hired through Angie's List to do various jobs were professional, competent and resonable. Live and learn! Matt will continue to be the go-to person in the future. I trust him, his men, and the job they do.

He arrived on time, did exactly as I wanted and to my surpised thoroughly cleaned up after himself.

I called them to request an estimate to have two small jobs done on my mobile home. Matt was very responsive and interested in what I needed to have done, however, I was given a "phone estimate" that was more than double the estimate I received from someone who actually took the time to come look at the work I wanted done.

I called Matt to remove old, cracking grout in my shower stall. The angle between the wall and floor of the shower stall had been mistakenly grouted instead of caulked by the builder. This grout cracked over time, letting water seep below the shower floor. Matt agreed to remove the cracked grout around the periphery of the floor and to replace it with a matching silicone caulk that I had purchased online from Color Rite. He called before coming and arrived on time with his partner, Abram. Both worked efficiently and neatly. They vacuumed the grout dust and pieces as they worked, to prevent a mess. They finished that part of the job by applying bleach to remove any residual mold from the cleared grout line. After a few days, over which the shower stall dried thoroughly with the help of a fan they left with me, they returned to apply the caulk. Again, they worked neatly and efficiently, and the look of the shower floor was quite satisfactory.

They were prompt, reasonably quiet, quick, and clean. Both men were very nice and happy to answer any questions about the job. Very happy with their work.

Matt does exceptional work. He is extremely professional and very responsible. He is creative when he has to work around problems and he wants to be sure that you are totally satisfied with his work. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Prompt, professional, problem solver

We were very pleased. Matt and his coworker were on time, very professional, and efficient. Matt charges by the hour, gave us an estimate of the time it would take to do the job and came in on target; The work was well done, they cleaned up after, no complaints. They are versatile and we will definitely call on them again.

Quality of the work was poor. The exterior trim was fair but there were large gaps in the carpentry done on the interior. I personally had to go back and fill the gaps with putty. I would not recommend this company for any finished work.

We were extremely pleased with Matt and the services he provided. We are looking forward to working with him again in the future on some other home remodeling projects we are considering, and I have already recommended him to several friends.

I liked them because they got it done on time. I thought they were very good. I did not compare the price. I would use their services again in the future.
