The house is covered with a compound called marbleite which is the color of light brown sugar. It appears to be stucco and Matt covered the problem sill with a mud colored compound and said it had to be painted. I was my general contractor for the remodel when I objected he did it his way anyway. I was out at midnight last night with a flash light starring at this mud colored wall.

matt bought the material or the gutters over on sept.19th and left them beside the house his crew returned a week later and installed the guTTers an patched the hole, and a week later to paint the hole maTT HAD GIVEN ME A PRICE OF 250 AND ENDED UP 356 I feel the job was drawn out and costly the work was completed oct. 4th..

We have contracted Matt's Maintenance and Remodeling for two separate jobs, and we will be using him in the near future for some more home modifications. Complete bathroom remodel - We had a leak from our master shower with damage to the walls. Matt and his crew replaced the shower pan, all the drywall, and installed an exhaust fan. After getting several quotes, Matt's price and vision were by far the best. He was very flexible with the materials we wanted to use and very helpful in making fixture decisions. They also laid the tile in the bathroom shower in the pattern that my wife designed. There were initially some issues with the shower door installation, but Matt made several trips back with the sub until it was corrected. The project was very successful and we have been enjoying the new bathroom for over a year and a half now. Install over the stove microwave - Recently we had Matt's Maintenance and Remodeling install a microwave over the stove and install a pantry. They had to cut our cabinets over the range, add an electrical outlet, and remove the old stove vent system. They also moved a couple of light switches to install the pantry. All the work was completed in one day, and they did a fantastic job.

They did what was expected, cleaned up after themselves and we're very respectful.

I recently purchased a home and needed to update many of the home's fixtures. I contacted Matt via e-mail roughly 2 weeks prior to service date detailing the work needed and the requested work date. He responded very quickly to arrange an in-person estimate. A few days later, he came out and walked the house in order to provide the best, most accurate estimate possible. He provided suggestions and alternatives to work within my budget and would point out any potential issues that might arise on the service date, so that should anything go awry, it wouldn't be a surprise to me. After a few days of back-and-forth conversation and me trimming down my repairs list, he provided a written estimate of $2,065. We agreed on a service date of 6/12, and he called a few days before to reconfirm and arrange a start time. Abe and Patrick arrived right on time (8:45AM) and got to work immediately, with Matt showing up about an hour later with some of the needed materials (I had requested he pick up some of the items on my behalf due to me having a tiny car!). There ended up being about 5 guys working on the house at one point, as Matt understood my tight timeline and was able to manage the workload in order to complete within the day. When issues arose (as they always will), he talked me through the issues and provided me my options; he was also very patient with me when I was making on-the-spot decisions. I must point out that he had very good communication skills, which isn't necessarily the case for many individuals in the service industry, so it was a pleasure to work with him! Additionally, he ensured he and his crew provided quality work -- for example, one of my fixtures came with very minimal hardware, and once they hung the fixture, they recognized it needed more reinforcement. Instead of moving on, they took the extra care to ensure it was affixed in the most long-lasting manner possible. They ended up leaving right around 5, with all previously discussed repairs completed. Due to the amount of trash, he was unable to haul away the trash the same day, but Patrick returned bright and early the next morning to retrieve the refuse. I was very pleased with Matt and all of his crew. Moving and repairs are very stressful, and unfortunately a lot of the service providers can end up being sketchy so it was nice to work with someone like Matt. He was responsive, receptive, and accommodating to my timeline and needs. I would absolutely use him for future repairs.

Matt's Maintenance & Remodeling built a closet in a bedroom with interior lighting, plastered, hung the doors & installed the hardware, rewired electrical to install a ceiling fan & light and painted the bedroom. Matt & his crew were very professional - arrived when stated, did great work, were easy to communicate with, cleaned up every day & finished the job within a reasonable amount of time. Matt returned phone calls quickly & addressed any requests I had proficiently & professionally. I would definitely recommend Matt's company.

Matt was always on time. He checked on us everyday. The quality of work was excellent. We had a few different people work on our bathroom before Matt, and the work was shoddy at best. Matt did the best job. I would definitely use him again in the future.

fine -- good quality, but price a bit high

Above and beyond expectation! We were extremely rushed for time because the movers were coming. Matt's Maintenance and his team finished ALL the painting and even removed the old carpet and installed new wood flooring over the weekend!! The results are beautiful! We just moved to the area but we know who to call for all of our projects large and small.

The service was good. He said he would be here at 9am and they came right at 9. They are quick and efficient. If you need a part they will pick it up and just bill you for it.
