I can't say enough good things about Gia Arvin of Matchmaker Realty. I met Gia Arvin when she was representing the buyer of a home I was selling. This was a FSBO where I was cooperating with brokers (willing to pay commission to the buyers agent). Not a situation every realtor was keen on getting into. But, it was a good house for her clients and jumped in anyway. I was so impressed with her that, when that sale was complete and it was time for my wife and I to go home shopping, I wanted Gia as my agent. I’ve bought and sold five homes, both with the help of a realtor and on my own, so I feel like I’ve got enough experience to offer a useful perspective of Gia’s abilities. Her local knowledge is second to none. She knows the process inside and out. She had a really good understanding of what we were looking for. She was always available (a quality I hope I didn’t abuse!). She’s very well connected and was a super resource when we needed help from other professionals (appraisers, contractors, roofers, and other professionals). She’s well-respected by and has a great working relationship with other realtors in the area. She’s got great sense of humor which, in my opinion, is critical when you’re working on something that can be as stressful as buying or selling a home. During the process of home shopping, my wife and I entered into a contract on a house that we wanted out of after some issues came up during the inspection process. Here's a situation where the seller isn't happy; the sellers agent isn't happy; and what I needed was someone to make this problem go away quickly with minimal hassle so we could get back to home shopping. She made it happen. If I were buying or selling my home tomorrow, Gia is who I’d want working for me.

The one agent I worked with was not on top of things so I decided it was best to move to a different company. There are going to be bad and good agents in every agency. I did not pay anything.
