Low Cost Tree Service

I returned a month later to find the work was not done. I called Antonio and he promised he would get it done. It is now the end of October and he does not return my calls and has not done the work he was paid to do.

We were solicited by LCTS on Sunday morning via a driveby. He claimed that he was lost looking for another job and then asked if we needed any tree work performed. We hired him to cut and remove a few limbs from a large tree in our front yard. He claimed that he was going to finish some other work and be back in a few hours to work on our tree. He provided a professional looking business card with contact information and he claimed to be fully insured. He arrived back on the property later in the afternoon and removed the limbs from the tree. He then loaded a small amount of the limbs into his truck and stated that due to limited visibility (it was getting into evening hours) that he would be back the following day to remove the remaining limbs. Against our better judgement we paid him the entire charge for the work....and yep...you guessed it...he never came back. He has not be reachable via phone either. So one week later my husband and I spend the weekend removing the limbs and debris that we paid somebody else to do. The lesson here I guess is not to hire Low Cost Tree Service, and also to never pay in full until the job is done.
