Description of Work: They dropped a line for an above stove microwave and then installed the microwave on 3 different trips. The cabinet had to be cut and we were waiting on painting. They were always prompt.

Description of Work: This is really an addendum to my previous review. We are in the process of having a new a.c. system put in. We're having duct work moved from beneath the house to the attic. While the a.c. guys were up there, they discovered a couple of hot, exposed wires and some other wacky sorts of Jerry-rigged electrical stuff which, I believe, is some left over handiwork of the previous owner more than 30 years ago. My problem is that this stuff was discovered near the parts of the house that had been, supposedly, completely rewired and, in one instance, right next to where our new pot lights were installed. I can accept that these live, hot and dangerous connections might not have been seen...perhaps buried in old insulation...but still. As we hired Kennedy to undo a lot of the bad DIY sorts of things happening in our old house, it was kind of disturbing to learn that for the last year we've been living under a fire hazard that should have been seen and fixed...that we *trusted* that they had made it so that faulty electrical in the attic was no longer an issue for us. I was a bit taken aback when I was charged $99 for what I thought should have been taken care of from the git-go.

+ -1 moreLet me begin from the beginning. We contacted three other electricians to get an estimate on the work we wanted to have done. Of those Kennedy was the only company/person who provided us with one and it was provided the very next day via email as promised. Two men arrived on the scheduled day at the scheduled time. They ran into some problems such as one encounters in older homes, and for a time really struggled with getting the proper accoutrements into one of our walls due to obstructions of some sort. It took them a couple of hours to complete just this part of the process. They arrived around 9 a.m. and were here until about 4 p.m. and finished all of the major part of the work. The next day, one of them came back and put on the finishing touches. The whole project was done in time on Friday morning for me to clean the place (there's a lot of dust when one is cutting through plaster). The guys were very nice, and very professional. They bent over backwards to make us happy including installing a dimmer switch for my pot lights on the spur of the moment. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.
Description of Work: We live in a 60 year old home. We wanted to have a couple of grounded outlets added to some of our interior walls. We also had can lights installed in the livingroom, a ceiling fixture changed and some wiring moved.

+ -1 moreAfter a tree fell during a storm, the local power company decided that they needed to start the power, so they blew the meter right off the wall. We called Kennedy Electric on an emergency basis and they came out within 2 days and did all the work. They replaced everything that needed to be replaced, so we that could restore our power. Their pricing was reasonable and the quality of their work was good.
