Description of Work: I had requested estimated for concrete work. Representative came to my house took some measurements for the requested work. He called several days later and told me he was "uncomfortable" with that plan and wanted to regrade my driveway. We made an appt. for 7/11. He was to call me that AM to set up a time. He never called in the AM I called the office and spoke to the receptionist who stated that she would have someone called me Several hours later, I called again and the bookkeeper answered the phone. She explained the receptionist was at lunch but she would have have her call me when she returned. Several hours later after no phone call, I called again was told that She would get the appropriate person to call me. I then stated that it was obvious that they did not want my business so I told. her not to bother calling me again

I spent $4892 on that work. That work they did was excellent. They came the same day I called to give me an estimate and spent time walking around the whole property and gave me some additional ideas that would make the whole thing look better and fit in the house. What it would cost to demolish the deck and put a new on in place and they walked around the property and saw some concrete that needed repairs and driveway and without being pushy that that it could be done if I want. They were very prompt in getting back to me about things that needed to be decided on. They gave me information on other jobs they had done to help me make decisions about what kind of surface to put on and things like that. They had other jobs for me to go see and contacted those people, so I would know what it would look like afterward. One of their ideas was to put a berm from the deck flowing down into the yard and put that into the project. They said that they were not landscapers so they were not going to do anything that, but said that they had a buddy who has some left over sod, so they did that and that was helpful.
Description of Work: I used Jam Construction in July and they replaced an old wooden deck with a concrete patio.

He didn't pull permits for the job. Even after we emailed him what we wanted (a slab for a workshop) he claimed we asked for a patio slab. His crew poured a slab without proper footings. The overseers were rude and insulting to the day laborers--it was like some awful chain gang movie. We got tagged and pulled in front of the county; Jim Allen went on vacation and stopped returning our calls. We had to redo the whole thing for twice the cost we paid him.
Description of Work: Reinforced foundation footings under house and poured workshop slab.
