INSULATION ASAP INC

I didn’t get to use this company because they basically refused my work. I was signed up for GRU LEEP program, and the rep from GRU, told me to use this company. I called and got a quote and they said they would send the quote to GRU. I got my voucher from GRU for this company, and called to schedule an appointment. On the day of my appointment, I made sure to keep my schedule open so that if they were a little late or took longer, that I wouldn’t be stressed or rushing. Well they never showed. I called about 15min after my scheduled appointment time, then 30min, then an hour, and then I gave up calling them. There was no way to leave a voice mail and no website with another form of contact. The following week I tried to call to see if anyone could tell me what happened with my appointment, and to my surprise some one answered, and told me that “some one fell off of scaffolding“ so they shut the whole business down for a week. He then asked me questions as if I were a completely new customer, and wanted to send someone out for a quote before they do the work. I told him we already went through this and you gave the quote to GRU, I guess he remembered and then said he could be out the following Monday morning at 8:30am. I asked if he needed my name or address and he said no, we got it. But based on how he just was trying to give me a quote and ask me questions about my home, I didn’t believe he ACTUALLY knew who I was and where I was, so i told him anyway. Name, order number, address, and phone number. I also asked that he please call me when they are heading out, and he said “oh they’ll be there”. I was skeptical, but counted on them to show. Well, day of my SECOND appointment, 15min into my appointment time and still no show, I gave them a little bit more grace and called maybe 25-30min after my scheduled appointment time. No answer. Surprise surprise. I was able to leave a voice mail this time, and ask that they please call me back if they plan on coming or if they DONT plan on coming. I waited another ten minutes and called again. This time I was FORWARDED to voicemail, and I didn’t leave a second one. Then I get a VAGUE text from them “ We are no longer doing GRU work at this time please call GRU” wow. I would’ve LOVED to have known that before I scheduled my day around this ALL OVER AGAIN!! I texted back asking why they couldn’t communicate that with me sooner than AFTER I called them? Get this: “ We all have the virus and It's hard to talk. GRU was supposed to contact you” Ok, wait, so now you’re sick? Ok, but, I thought it was that you’re not taking GRU, but it’s sick too? Oook? Obviously I feel bad that (if it’s all true) the injury from someone “ falling off of scaffolding“ and the ENTIRE crew coming down with (I can only assume is cov19) a sickness, and don’t want to negate any sympathy or grace they may need in their struggles, but why wasn’t I contacted or communicated with during ANY of it? Why was I the one to ask where are you? Why was I the one that had to call and check in? Warning: don’t expect them to work for you. Don’t expect good customer service. Don’t expect ANY phone calls from them. Don’t expect them to show up. Don’t expect anything from them. Then yay! I totally recommend them, if you can go in with absolutely ZERO expectations of them doing any work for you 👍🏼

I reached out to Mr. Dwayne about a month ago to get a quote for attic insulation. He came out to provide a quote. He seemed to be a nice, honest guy. We reached out to him to schedule an appointment to have the insulation installed. The day before the appointment, we were expecting a phone call to confirm the appointment, but we did not receive one. We then assumed that he would reach out the morning of the install, but still not contact from him. We contacted him a few minutes after the scheduled appointment time and left a message, but have not heard back. We understand that things happen, but if that's the case, the customer should be contacted and made aware of it. Although I cannot speak about his work, his lack of communication and honesty does not allow me to recommend this company to anyone. It's unfortunate that this company is not built on integrity nor customer service.

Duane came out promptly and gave an estimate. He was careful to explain his plan which would provide the most benefit. The cost was so reasonable that I decided to also have insulation added to my two car garage. His team arrived a few days later and completed the job in an efficient manner. They were friendly and courteous and left the work area in a clean and tidy condition. Duane is a very pleasant person to work with, and I would recommend Insulation ASAP without reservation to anyone needing insulation services.

The installer/owner Duane arrived promptly on time, despite rain in the forecast, and got setup quickly. He spent an hour or two in the attic (1550 sq ft~) blowing in the fiberglass insulation, and invited me to climb up and use his flashlight to look around and verify that he had done what he said he did. Strikes me as a very professional and honest guy. Previous to his work, my house was struggling to stay cool and the air conditioner would constantly run. On a 90 degree day it wasn't uncommon to see the thermostat at 78-80, when set to 74.. Afterwards, the house will now maintain 74 degrees and the AC will actually cut off throughout the day. I haven't seen it struggle since. Great job, would recommend.

Duane was prompt in providing an estimate and very clear explaining what I needed. A few days later he arrived and completed the job efficiently and left the work area clean and tidy. His price was so reasonable that I decided to get my garage insulated as well. I recommended Duane to a friend, and she is very happy with the work he did at her home. Duane is a very pleasant person to work with, and I would certainly hire him again.

Duane and his team were amazing. When doing the estimate, Duane made sure I understood what we needed - and didn't need - so that we would not have to pay any more than necessary. The estimate was the most reasonable one we received. Duane was extremely professional and very responsive to phone and e-mail communications. The actual insulation work was done with the utmost attention to detail and exceeded our expectations. I would use Insulation ASAP again in a flash and can't recommend them enough to others who need to have their home insulation repaired/updated.

Excellently! Duane gave very good advice on what was the best treatment for my situation.He arrived on time and finished the job in a timely manner. He was very professional and pleasant to deal with. Everything was clean and tidy when he left. The price compared extremely favorably with that of other companies. I have already recommended him to a friend, and she is well pleased with his work. I would definitely use Insulation ASAP again.

They blew in R26 into my attic which was they put up there when the house was built. New construction is what they should be doing.

Very well. Dwane answered my call promptly. He discussed options of type of insullations and gave me the pros and cons to each along with the cost. We set the appointment and he called to say he was on his way. He was prompt, went to work, and completed the job quickly. We have already noticed a small temperature drop in the heat of the day. This was the first step in prepartartion for turning the garage into a home workshop.

Duane did a fantastic job with insulating our interior walls. He came to do a free estimate the day after I called him, and started the job two days later. He went out of his way to make sure that every small detail was covered. The job took much longer to complete than initially estimated, and we ended up insulating more walls as well. But Duane insisted on charging the same amount as was originally quoted. I had to insist on paying him more, which never happened to me before... Being a Navy Seal veteran, Duane is extremely courteous, modest, and very professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Duane Patterson was very punctual and courteous. He was willing to explain everything he was doing and was detailed in his work. Happily the insulation was up to par and Duane assured me that there was no need for any work to be done. I was very pleased with his assessment and would be happy to hire him if or when the need arises. But until then I will gladly recommend him to all of my friends.

Came out same day to provide estimate. Came out next day to do job. Arrived on time, courteous and left no mess.

Amazing service and very professional; I called for a free estimate and the owner came out himself. He climbed in my attic to review the area we needed insulated. He made a recommendation and gave me a great price. He scheduled me for the next day and came out himself on a Saturday to perform the work. He was finished in under hour. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs insulation work. A+ service and pricing.

They did a great job. They were here one day to look at everything and they were right here the next morning and did a wonderful job. It was a good price and we were very, very happy. I will use them again in the future.
