Description of Work: Remove two layers of asphalt shingles, rotted sheathing and fascia board and replace with standing seam, painted metal roofing on my single family home. Replace three fixed skylights with opening skylights. A small part of the job was a repair / replacement of a shoddy roof over a breeze way between the house and a garage about 10 feet away. It had been the victim of an amateur's "roof extension" beyond the original designed eave. Because this repair / replacement was to be done in a different roofing material (composite panel) it was sub-ed out. The sub-contractor botched the job, but a quick call to Hickman Metal Roofing resolved the issue promptly and completely. The Hickman Metal Roofing employees, from the salesman to the most junior guy on the roof were invariably professional in all respects. Hickman Metal Roofing did as good a job as one can hope for in this world. I would gladly recommend them to anyone for a top-quality metal roof.

Description of Work: We can tell you that Don Hickman of Hickman Metal Roofing came the very day we called him about possible mold. He answered our questions in full, and made recommendations for our next steps to take. He did not charge us for his advice. He inspected our roof, and will install several bolts that have come out, next week. We were grateful for such prompt and courteous help. We would rate him "A", and would certainly go to him if we needed a new roof or more serious repairs. We couldn't have asked for a better person to talk to than Don Hickman.

Description of Work: Complete new metal roofing over homer and Florida room. Also had insulation board installed which made a big difference on the air conditioning not running all afternoon. Now it is off and on. Would hire these people again.Very professional.

There was some initial confusion between their sales person and their office people about what work we wanted in order to get an estimate, but it got resolved. They sent a three-man crew, and once they started work, it took less than half a day to complete.
Description of Work: They removed the chimney and replaced panels on a metal roof.
