Description of Work: Roof/ Driveway and curb/ and paved paths cleaning and sealing/ Deck cleaning and sealing- Garry used a 100% hydrogen peroxide product for the roof instead of bleach which can dry your shingles out and make them brittle. He had to wash half of it twice because once he blew the leaves off, there were a lot of determined ferns trying to make a life for themselves up there. He sealed the pavers upfront with a low sheen finish to reduce slip. He washed the house and driveway and the front curb. Garry gave us a really great price on the deck and all the other work performed.

Description of Work: Most of the work on this project was exterior. Garry pressure washed 2 story complex house, put finish on four ipe (Brazilian hardwood) decks and four stairs, touched up elastomeric paint on sills and exterior of house, painted bedroom ceiling and cleaned and sealed slate tiles in entry

Description of Work: Garry was contracted to correct a sloppy paint job done by R & R several years ago when I had the wallpaper in our master bathroom removed and had the wall painted instead. My former contractor had not removed the paper properly nor prepared the wall correctly. The paint job itself was also slipshod. Garry wiped the walls down twice. He sanded the rough raised trash that was in the dried paint to a smooth finish. He primed the walls so drywall mud would stick and spackled the imperfections. Then he sanded everything smooth again. He re-primed the drywall mud and applied 2 coats of satin paint the same color as before. We decided to paint the ceiling -- which was formerly white -- the butternut color of my shower tiles (reach to the top of my 10 foot walls). By then it looked so nice that I couldn't resist finishing the ceiling with trim. Garry found several trims that we thought might be appropriate. He went to the supply store and brought back a strip of each and painted them so I could choose. Then he painted 2 coats of the chosen paint on the ceiling and added the trim, a wonderful finishing touch. He patched up the shower floor to keep moisture out of the walls (and so that it would look better) until my new contractor, A & M Restoration, can re-tile it. He also cleaned out the exhaust fan (above the toilet) which had been clogged with dust. In total Garry painted the walls 4 times and the ceilings twice, installed the trim, and did miscellaneous small jobs He was invaluable in helping to plan this new look.

Description of Work: Gary painted our entire 2,500 sq. ft home with very high ceilings. He recaulked all the trim again and most of the walls were they meet the ceilings. Fixed a lot of texture issue and repaired some unused holes in the metal front doors. Worked some late hours to meet the deadline and gave a great price compared to most. He also came back several months later after the counters and new cabinets were in and touched up painted all areas where construction workers left a mess.

Description of Work: This time, Gary power washed my metal roof and wood deck. He previously painted my house.

Description of Work: Garry painted the background to my new cabinet doors and drawers. I did not purchase the entire cabinets because we have a granite counter-top that would have to be moved and replace. At any rate, the cost was prohibitive. The painting had to be perfect so that it would blend together. He also painted the new crown molding. He noticed that my former painters had not properly removed the wallpaper before painting, so we had him repaint those places. He repainted all of the existing molding and doors (including the pantry). He painted the ceiling in the guest bathroom.

Description of Work: Stripped 2 layers of wallpaper from 1 bathroom, 1 layer from the other. He had to scrape the glue stuck to the wall in one bathroom. Patched holes left from plumber. He meticulously prepared the walls after removing the wallpaper, leaving no traces of anything except smooth walls. He then painted the walls and the ceilings. He also hung some pictures for her. Throughout the entire process, he was extremely careful not to damage the new floors my aunt had already installed in the bathrooms.

Description of Work: Wash, caulk, and repaint exterior of house. Repair cosmetic cracks and seal chert rock facade. Repaint laundry room/mud room. Pressure wash concrete patio and sidewalk areas.
