Description of Work: Godwin Green Roofing replaced our shingled roof. Pleased with their work and would use them again.

Description of Work: Chris Tenney came out within a day or two of my contacting him. He went up onto the roof and looked it over and we discussed ballpark prices for both shingle and metal roofs, though he was very clear and specific about the additional cost of replacing the underlying plywood if this turned out to be necessary. I was interested in a metal roof, so he gave me some brochures on the materials and finishes available. After thinking about it a while, I got back in touch with him. There was no long wait; he put me on his schedule for the next week. His three employees showed up promptly. Chris had given me an estimate of two days to get the job done, but it was more like a day and a half. Due to some other work that was being done on the house, he left off a section of gable trim at one edge of the roof. When the work was done I contacted Chris by email, and the gable trim was on the house that same day.

Description of Work: On a very tight budget, I had the same roof leak around the fireplace (of this 60 year old flat roof home) that has allegedly been repaired 3 times before. They diagnosed the problem and actually fixed it in an afternoon. It has been no problem since then. I will definitely call them back when it's time to replace.

Description of Work: Replaced our roof and installed insulation and an attic fan. The roof looks great and our heating/cooling costs dropped immediately. We qualified for a rebate from our electric company
