Description of Work: Replaced a gate with a new, solar-powered gate. They were on time, professional, and the end result met or exceeded our expectations.

Description of Work: They installed my gate and a gate opener. They were very punctual, but they didn't give me a written quote before doing the job & the scope changed while the job was being done. I was very confused about the end price and when I asked for a receipt for my payment, they said that I had received such a discounted price that they couldn't give me a receipt. They said they normally charge much more for the services I received. I was covered under warranty, but each time I called for minor repairs, the technician came out and did the adjustments, but it was like they didn't know I existed. I was told by the installer/owner that parts and labor would be covered for 5 years if I had any trouble with the gate opener. In 2014, I had to pay $260 for two service calls for a defective part. The part was covered under warranty, but the labor was extra. For this reason, I graded this company lower on professionalism.

Description of Work: When we moved into our house last December the moving company destroyed our wireless keypad and pole. We had Gates Elegante come out and replace the pad and pole. The keypad has never worked correctly, we thought it was because we were using the reset button on the gate. We had Gates Elegante come out and install a keypad and pole approximately 2 weeks ago on the inside of the gate, while he was here the service man Chris Smith said the using the reset button had nothing to do with the wireless keypad he proceeded to change the 9V battery at a charge of $7.00. This was on top of the $370.00 he charge to install a new $25.00 keypad and metal pole. One week later I called to tell him that the wireless keypad still was not working. Apparently he came out that day (we were not home) and replaced the keypad again. Today I received a bill for $249.00. There was no call to me giving me an estimate of the amount prior to the work, if there were I would have told him that there was no way I was paying $249.00 to replace a $25.00 keypad. This should have been a courtesy call to see what the problem was since they were just here last week. I should have been notified prior to any chargeable work being done. (This is why I gave an F for professionalism). While this company may have a fast response rate be prepared to empty your wallet. I will NOT be using this company again. Very low quality products for a large amount of money.

Description of Work: They came out February the 6th of this year. They did service and other work. They replaced the battery. He did a voltage check and found a bad cell.

Description of Work: Installed metal railings over outside stairsteps. Metal railings with black finish.
