I really can't say enough good things about this company. Eric, the owner, was quick to come out and provide an estimate. Christina, in the office, was very helpful. During installation, the crew worked very hard, were polite, and cleaned up after themselves. They already faced many challenges with the very BIG job of replacing all our doors and windows. But, we really threw in a twist when we asked them to finish a 3-day job in 2 days, due to a family emergency. It made for a very long second day, but they stayed late and got it done. We are very grateful and the house looks amazing! Call this company!

Eric came out as scheduled to survey the scope of work. We discussed options and repairs needed. When the windows arrived from the manufacturer, one was broken so a replacement sash was ordered immediately. We set up a start date for installation. The guys arrived as planned and did a great job removing the old windows and installing the new ones. They installed the broken window, since only the glass was broken, and put a piece of MDF in the sash. When the new sash arrived, all we had to do was snap out the old one and snap in the new one. Great communication, great service, fair price.

It went really well. Responded very quickly via email or phone and arrived promptly.

I was prepared for the worst after reading all the horror stories online about window salesman and their scams. This was not the case at all. Eric the owner of Gainesville windows and doors arrived on time and was very professional. No hard sales pressure or tactics. After some consulting we went with the windows that I was interested in. The Mezzo window. When the windows arrived the appointment was made to install. He and his team arrived and the install was done in a day and a half. Eric noticed a small scratch on the main living room window and ordered another one right away. We didn't even see it. When the install was done he didn't like the way the sliding door was framed due to the previous door from 1968. He went to Home Depot and got some framing material and made it look fantastic. Kudos to him and his crew. I would whole heartily recommend Gainesville Windows and Doors to anyone looking to upgrade. Couldn't be more pleased.

Great service from start to finish. Owner is very professional and patient--not a slick salesman. He was very knowledgeable about the product. He provided the estimate in a timely fashion and worked with our schedule to find a good installation time. They were very tidy and careful in our home with the removal of the old windows. They kept all work space clean and free of waste they could hurt our pets or children.

My first experience with Gainesville Windows was about a year ago, when I hired them to repair my clouded window panes. Without going into a lot of detail, that repair job didn't go well (in fact, it was incomplete). But later, when the owner, Eric, read about my experience on this website, he called me to apologize and explained that he had been told by his (now) ex-employee that I was satisfied with the poor repair. He offered to replace the entire window with a window of my choice at no cost. Today, he installed a brand new, gorgeous, top-of-the-line vinyl window. I couldn't be happier. Any business that does home repairs and installations is going to run into problems. But how they handle the problems is what sets a good business apart from a bad one. Gainesville Windows did the right thing and turned my unsatisfactory experience into a positive one. When my other windows are ready to be replaced, I'll definitely give Gainesville Windows a call.

It went great. One window was a large picture window with side casement which we replaced with a picture window with side sash windows and it was one of the largest they had installed at that point (this was over three years ago). The windows are also double glazed and have cut down noise a very large amount and our climate control is much better. Being in Florida, this is a very big issue.

We are extremely pleased with their careful work. They made a mistake in ordering and they were happy to correct it. They apologized for everything that was not right, and they came back and did some things over. They were extremely thorough and thoughtful and we would certainly use them again.

After moving into a new townhouse, I realized that there was water damage near a sliding door in the master bedroom when I replaced the flooring. It took a while to get the appropriate permitting, which GWM did. When problems arose, GWM went out of there way to make sure that I was happy with the final product. They were always very courteous, and I could tell that they were concerned that I was satisfied with the final product. I would use them again in the future, and I do recommend them.

Our experience with Gainesville Windows & More was wonderful. Rick Sayers brought several window samples to our home when he came to give the estimate. I was impressed with how knowledgable and professional he was. After we selected the windows we wanted he obtained the permits necessary for the job and scheduled a day for the install. On the day of the install the team showed up promptly and began working right away. They were friendly and very efficient and best of all they left no mess! It was definitely our least painful home improvement project yet. Best of all- the windows look great.

We had an excellent experience with Gainesville Windows and More. We originally met with Rick Sayers to discuss the possible project. Rick provided sample windows, selection suggestions and even took us to a house where they had already done work in our neighborhood. In addition, he provided the tax rebate information associated with new windows. He provided us a timely quote that detailed all our selections and broke down the price. Once we made the decision to move forward Rick gave us a timeline for the project - both ordering the windows and installation. The project started and ended exactly as promised even when it meant that Erik Sayers and his team stayed until 8:00 pm. to finish one evening. Erik and his team were very professional, did excellent installation work, helped with our window covering hardware and did a great job of cleaning up as they finished each window.

The order came in in the specified time, they set up immediate installation and they did the work very cleanly and professionally. There was no destruction of the existing woodwork and there was nothing that I needed to do after they were through except paint the doors which were unfinished. I have never had a less painful home improvement project done.
