Description of Work: Our painter, Andy, did an excellent job painting 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, touching up window ledges and trim throughout the house and pressure cleaning the house, driveway and sidewalk. He was very professional and polite and I recommend him highly. He will be my first call if I need more painting done.

Description of Work: We purchased one of the specials on Angies List. They painted our small kitchen. |The cost of the pre-paid service was $200 and it did not include the paint or primer. |I don't feel like we got a very good deal. Here is an excerpt of an email that I sent to them after the job was done. | |Begin email---> |You missed our first appointment to get the quote. I took time off of work to meet you on Friday 10/2 but you didn't show up. I appreciate your stopping by the next day(10/3). |I didn't get the follow up email where you were going to send me the details of the paint and primer, such as how much and what kind of paint and primer you needed. We talked about these details but you said you would send an email with the details. |I had to call you on the morning of the job(Friday 11/6) to remind you of the job. You mentioned that my appointment was on your calendar but something clearly was not right about this job assignment. It would have been better if you send an email a few days prior to the appointment to acknowledge that you have assigned someone to the job and their expected time of arrival. |When we spoke on Friday morning(11/6) you said your painter was to arrive within 20 minutes of our call but he actually arrived a few hours later. |Overall the painters work is good but details matter. |There are paint drippings on the floor and base moulding. |There is a large area of paint residue in my lawn where he cleaned his equipment. |I didn't get the eight hours of work that I was expecting. He finished the job in less than 3 hours. |<--- end email | |After sending this email, the painter(I don't want to mention a name) called me back to apologize and made an offer to reconcile. He offered to paint another room at very discounted rate. I called him a few months later(after the holidays) to schedule the painting of the other room but his new quote did not seem discounted at all. Description of Work: Painted two small bedrooms , baseboard , window sills and doors . Very easy to work with . Javier quoted 2 small bedrooms to paint but when Eric came to paint I ask if they would paint doors , baseboard , and window sills and they said no problem, altho it added an extra day they had not planned for . The painter arrived on time, worked hard, was very polite and did an awesome job! He was very patient with us as we decided on colors. And his painting was flawless. The also repaired one wall of drywall in the garage and painted that wall. | |They were very professional and easy to work with throughout the process. He went above and beyond including hand-picking off some nasty vines from the north side of our house... what I really appreciated was a call from Eric when he could not work that day (due to weather). Will definitely use Freshcoat again.

+ -1 moreThe experience could not be better. I left a message for the owner to call me back. He called that same day. He came over, looked at he job and gave me an estimate. We scheduled the job for three days later. The painter came on time. He was very neat, he covered all the walls and bricks before painting. He asked when in doubt about areas he was not sure if we wanted painting or not. I like this because I had prior experience with another painter who painted areas a did not want him to paint. He finished quick, the garage door look fantastic! He cleaned everything. I have no complains. I would recommend this company to anyone. I would use his services again without a doubt.

+ -1 moreI called three different vendors for estimates. The first estimate turned out to be the same as the company I did choose. The reason I didn't select that vendor is that the contractor did not respond to questions I had about cost. The second vendor is one I have used in the past, but his estimate was almost triple that of the other two. Although I know he does good work, the price was way out of line. I chose Fresh Coat because I liked the fact that when I called the office, the staff was very professional in taking down my information. The owner came to my house to do the estimate, and was very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. He also had previous experience as an appraiser so I felt he understood the importance of maintaining property. The actual painter was another employee. He showed up on time, and completed the work in less than a day. The work was very well done, and he cleaned up all his materials. I would highly recommend this company since the owner is clearly someone who cares about excellence and quality, and he ensures that his employees meet that standard. The cost was very reasonable as well.

He called me to check in and make sure that the painter was doing a good job, and that it was up to my standards. I appreciated that a lot. He did a great job; the lines were perfectly even. I have textured walls and that is really hard to do. They will be coming out again to do some more rooms.

Our daughter's room took more than one coat to cover the previous color, so I was surprised how efficient they were. The painting is very professional and looks great! Javier (owner) came out and discussed at length what the job would entail and when the painters would arrive.They were prompt and began working right away. We liked them so much we plan on hiring them to do more interior painting soon!

I made it clear that this was not yet our house, so we had limited opportunities to bring in people for estimates before closing. He said he would be there at 8:00 am sharp. At 8:15, I called the office. The lady who answered said she would contact Javier. I told her to have him call me if he needed directions or would be more than another 10-15 minutes. I was there until 9:30 but no one came, and now six days later no one has called to explain or apologize. The lady on the phone is nice, which is why I gave a C grade for professionalism. It sounds like I am missing out on a good painter, but I can't hire someone I can't count on.

The work was performed as promised, and cost the amount that was quoted. No surprises. The crew also cleaned our gutters, power washed the driveway and walk ways as part of their service since they have to clean the house before painting. Nice touch! Great job and will use them again for painting projects.

He promised that he could arrange for a painter to be at our house at 9 AM that Sat. The painter was extremely prompt and did a wonderful job of protecting the new cabinets, countertops and appliances. I never saw such a neat and thorough job, it was amazing to me. He left everything so clean and neat with no fuss, no muss. The price was very good and the workmanship and professionalism was top-notch.

+ 0 moreI bought a "paint one room for $99" offer from Freshcoat. Javier called promptly and came by to see our bathroom, sign paperwork and schedule the painting. Because the room was smaller, we used the coupon towards the wallpaper removal, though it became a much more complicated job than first estimated. Apparently there was black mold and a hole in our ceiling well hidden under the wallpaper, so before Mike could finish the job we had to get our insurance involved and hire a different company to remove and replace the old ceiling. Javier and Mike at FreshCoat were very understanding, and worked with us to reschedule the completion of our project after the the reconstruction had taken place. Once that was all done, it was full steam ahead and Mike, the painter, was meticulous in his work, extremely neat and professional. After he left our floor was cleaner than when it started! :-)
Description of Work: This is the second time we used FreshCoat to help us with our interior painting. We needed to have layers of wallpaper removed in our bathroom and add a new paint color as well as new ceiling paint. This was basically a total "remodel." Javier was great when it came time to discuss my vision, the time needed and actual costs. Mike was the person who removed the wallpaper and painted and as a team they worked well. They were honest in their estimates and responsive to communication, though at times needed a call back to followup. They are BUSY, because they are good! I would not hesitate to hire this company again. Very professional!

There was some mix up with the scheduling and when no one was at my house a half hour after our scheduled time, I called Javier. He was very apologetic explaining there was a mix up. He quickly got me on the calendar for two days later. The painter came about an hour later than expected but was very quick and extremely neat and professional. Not a drop of paint anywhere it wasn't suppose to be. I liked the people from the company. They were friendly and did a good job. The paint I chose didn't cover well. The painter noticed it was thin. I was covering a darker color with a lighter one. I wish someone (Javier or the paint store) would have helped me get a paint that covered better.
Description of Work: A rep came by my home to look at the space, sign paperwork and schedule the painting. The painter came with brushes, rollers and drop clothes. I had the room cleared and ready for painting. He painted 2 coats in a small bedroom including closet doors and the entry door. The ceiling was not included. It took about 6 hours.
