Eric prepared a prompt and nicely detailed proposal. The quality of the proposal, the number of good prior reviews, the personal review of what was needed, and the liability and health insurance coverage all contributed to our selecting Fresh Coat. We could not be happier with our choice. The painting staff was attentive to every detail, was extraordinarily conscientious about making it right. We really liked every single one of them a lot. They did extra caulking where it had not been done before. They worked painting the high steep roof with skill. They worked with us on the type of paint to use (in our case a flat exterior paint for a rough siding). Frank the carpenter did a skilled job of repairing wood and re-screening. There were no surprises on the final bill. We are so happy that we chose this company and its "can do" attitude. A very positive experience.

Fresh Coat Painters was hired by us after having gotten two other estimates. Once we were introduced to Javier and given an estimate, we finally felt "settled" on a decision, as it was apparent that excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction were highly valued. Javier was fair and patient with all our initial questions (although I think I fried his brain cells:) and throughout the process. From start to finish, it was consistently apparent that quality painting and customer service went hand in hand. Every employee/painter that worked on the job had the same attitude and worked from the same ethic, including the extra help that came on the scene. Lee started our project. He was kind, considerate, focused, detail-oriented and asked lots of questions to assure our satisfaction. His good mannered communication went a long way in getting the project off to a great start. He was patient when I wasn't ready with my chosen trim color and was kind to give me me the time I needed. Lee pressure washed above and beyond expectation and this really added to my satisfaction and the overall finished product. The project then got a turbo boost when Aaron came on the job with his energy and experience, again, with attention to detail and customer satisfaction which was very much appreciated. These two men were the leaders on the project. I say both were leaders because they each possessed different character qualities of leadership and were each called upon at different times to be so. Lee was attentive to the day's task and at the same time was 'forward thinking' in order for the project to hum along smoothly. He communicated needs to the owner, to helpers and to me. When I had to leave for the day I felt at ease that all would be well. Aaron, too, was a good leader, in that he worked with great passion and efficiency, communicated logistics and sequencing of steps to his team and was helpful, positive and cheerful, able to take on the project and attend to details alone and with others too. He was the last one on the project and went the extra mile to paint house numbers and assure I was happy with the texture on the front door. He took pride in his workmanship and made sure I was happy with the results. He demonstrated patience with those with less experience, willing to teach technique. Lee also went the extra mile, replacing weather stripping and preparing me for what was to come next to consider our dog. I found the team to be trustworthy, hard working and caring individuals. They have earned a very satisfied customer in me!! I hope to be able to hire them back in the future for interior painting!!! Thank you all so very much!!

The initial painting job was very good, but there were some spots that needed to be fixed. Javier did an excellent job managing the painter he sent to our job. Once the area was fixed, Javier called me to ensure I was happy with the finished product. Very well run company that focuses on customer satisfaction.

He did an excellent job. Very professional. The area was cleaned up following the job. It took a little longer than the allotted time and there was no extra charge. Good deal.

A little issue with the startup date due to weather (rainy summer). After that, weather cleared and the project got going. Javier sent a crew of two - I was not in a hurry and would rather have consistent attention than a rush job. The crew, Lee and Tyler, were punctual, friendly, thorough and careful. The finished work looks great - my neighbors noticed and one is now getting a quote for their property.

I took time from my day to meet this person who did not show up.

Great! I had the painter come back a second day. The only problem was that he got frustrated when something broke and was a bit unprofessional. He did apologize later. I would highly recommend them.

The work was completed on time. Everyone with the company that we communicated with was professional and helpful. The painters who were on the job everyday, sometimes without ac inside, were clean, organized, professional, and did great work. The best part was that there were no surprises when the final bill was submitted. Everything was as agreed upon initially. I highly recommend Flashcoat.

From the beginning Eric was very punctual and professional, he inspected the house and gave me a detailed quote for the job, which included the different stages to be performed, and cost of each one. The start was delayed a couple of days from the original scheduled start date but he kept me informed of it and once they started the finished promptly. I was impressed because our house has a very steep roof pitch and some areas are hard to get to, but the painter pulled it off very effectively. Javier gave complete estimate and approximate date. Called in timely fashion when they were ready to start. Job was very well done with special attention to preparation and preventing overspray. First quality paint used all around. Very pleased.

They were very prompt. I work long hours so they arrived after I left and were gone when I got home. It was like the work was being done by invisible people. The process took precisely as long as expected. And the place looks great. They even surprised me by painting and refinishing doors and the floor of the front porch. Javier, the owner, is very nice and easy to talk to. He is very concerned with customer service, so don't be afraid to ask for what you want. I'll definitely call them again for my inside painting. I highly recommend Fresh Coat for any painting you need.

Excellent. There were no hidden costs and no overruns. We had a bid and an estimated one week to complete the project. They completed it in 1 week despite rain delays. Owner Javier birddogged the project and the actual work was done by Mr. Mike. He prepped it in one day (very thorough), pressure washed the home and driveway (no extra charge for the sidewalk and driveway). It was the cleanest we saw it in 15 yrs !.Javier went over the color scheme options and we agreed on a good middle-of-the-road paint that should last for many years. He and I agreed to 2 coats and it looks fantastic. We are planning on additional paining on the interior and some other projects - my wife insists that Javier be called to handle it. We will definitely be doing that in the next month or two. This company has a great work ethic, very open to discussing options and we cannot be more pleased.

I had a tough time getting them to return calls or e-mails in a timely manner. They also did not show up for appointments or did not show up on time. I didn't feel comfortable using them because of this.

Painter for business arrived as scheduled and went too work right away. Painted interior wall (approx. 12' by 20'). He first did "scratching" or light sanding on the color that was already on the wall. Then he started painting with new color, cinnamon cherry. One coat was applied and let it dry then a second coat was applied. Painter was very precise with lines, etc. The accent wall and shadow boxes turned out wonderful! Cleaned up after he was done.

, After the owner checked the house he said he would paint the house on a given date. He never came. This was a big inconvenient because I don't live in the house he was going to paint, so I had to travel and dedicate the day to facilitate anything the painters would need. After I called to the owner of the company he said he will call me back with the date they will execute the order. After a month I called back and the owner said he could not honor the order because he didn't have personal for the work and he would reimburse the money. I would understand unforeseen problems but the company is still publishing the same offer not including the cost of the paint, it doesn't seem to me that his excuse is honest.

Very difficult to remove. Took a few days but generously reduced the price

It went very well. Javier was great! In our initial meetings he made sure that both my husband and I were there. He walked around the outside of our home with us and pointed out areas which needed to have the wood replaced. He had a carpenter that took care of replacing the rotted wood and provided us with a written estimate for this additional work. We discussed what his workers would be doing and what we needed to do to ready the house. Javier was quite personable and very responsive to all of our questions. He explained that his workers would power-wash the house and do all of the prep work (covering windows, taping, filling in any holes), and they even power-washed our front and back patio and our driveway! All of his workers were very nice , punctual and professional. They did two coats of paint on the house. I had the front door painted a different color, and they took off all the hardware to paint it and even installed our new hardware for us. They removed all of the wood debris and carted it off. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Javier showed up as scheduled on a Saturday morning and I showed him the areas I wanted painted and pressure washed. He was very nice, sounded knowledgeable, and said he'd email me the quote by Monday. It's now more than 10 days later and I still haven't gotten a price quote. I even sent a text message to him saying the quote did not show up. Never heard back from him. I'm not going to chase someone down to give them my money. Wasted my time.

Did a great job painting newly renovated kitchen, bathroom and large family room. Prepped, primed and painted walls, doors and trim. Did a fantastic job in a timely manner- looks great!

Company responded to call. Came to house and gave bid. They were on time as promised and very professional. Bid that was submitted was lengthy and detailed. But bid was double of others whom I talked to, so I decided to go with other providers.

The great thing about this company is that they have a very well qualified carpenter that can repair decks, caulking areas, etc. So you do not have to contract that out and then have painters come in. They do it all. The carpenter actually rebuilt my pump house, did a fantastic job. They guarantee their work, about a year later I noticed the paint peeling from the front door, Javier the boss and Mike the painter came out and corrected this in one day. It was a minor mistake, on their part and they fixed it right away. Mike is so good at detail its just unbelievable. They just have a great crew that really works good together.

The experience was professional, yet with a lot of care. Each step was communicated along the way. We felt very taken care of. Also, there was very little clean up when they left, and they painted every inch of the interior.

Freshcoat Painters are great! Starting with Eric doing a very professional bid in a very timely manner to Lee being meticulous with details throughout our kitchen space - including patching and caulking where needed. We would definitely use them again and refer to a friend needing this type of service.

After calling and meeting with THREE painting companies Javier was the only one to even give me an estimate. Not only was the price very reasonable, he was very friendly and very professional. This is to be expected from the business owner- the real test is when the guys show up to do the labor. I was THRILLED with Lee, our painter for 2 weeks. Lee showed up right on time every single morning, kept me in the loop of his plans, and even took my 2 small children and their schedules into consideration when planning his day. He did not stand outside and smoke cigarettes like other painters have done, he was very quiet (2 napping babies is HUGE), and he was very respectful of our home. I'm not impossible to please, but I am hard to please. I just have high expectations for people who I pay to do work for me. Javier, Lee, and Fresh Coat exceeded every expectation from beginning to end. I recommend them highly and will DEFINITELY use them for any painting in the future.
