+ -1 moreTrying to remodel our house. Mr. Driscoll came out to the house and told us our walls are partition walls and not load bearing. Mr. Driscoll told us to call him if we needed anything. Called the permitting office and they told us we need a letter from an engineer stating that the walls are not load bearing. Called Mr. Driscoll and he said, "I can't remember what I had for lunch today, how am I supposed to remember your house?" LOL. And that the letter would make him legally liable. That's what we thought we were paying a professional for. Thanks for nothing. GO TEAM DRISCOLL!

Description of Work: I was planning on remodeling our kitchen and wanted to remove a couple of walls. I needed advice from a structure engineer as to whether the walls were load bearing or not. After calling several engineering companies all said my project was to small are they never returned my calls. However Driscoll Engineering answered my call and was very helpful. Mike Driscoll came by the next day, discussed my plans with me, reviewed our house and provided all the answers to my questions. He was very professional and will be my first call on any further projects requiring engineering advice.
