Dan The Handyman

Dan, did a super job on tearing out and replacing rotted out sub flooring in a mobile home that we rent out. He was also able to track down the leak to the toilet bolt it had broken off and was allowing water to seep under the flooring and to the low spot in the hallway where it had rotted out the wood. He fixed the leak and reset the toilet and replaced the rotted out wood. Then replaced the flooring with some I had left over from originally doing the floors. Dan did a great job and is a man of his word as he showed up and started working even when he could not get hold of me to set up payment. We will defiantly be using his services the near future. Thanks Dan!

He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We were very happy with the work he did. Transformed our house into a home.

Job was done well and fast cost was fair.

First, I contacted a half a dozen handymen. Most were too busy to fit me in for a couple of months. One was available, but he charged $100/hour. Then I remembered that I had used Dan when I moved into this house about four years ago. I called him, he came over and reviewed the work, worked me into his schedule, and the following week he completed the work. This was to get our house ready for sale. Now, we will have him back once the inspector gives us a list of items to repair. When we move to our new house, we will call on Dan to help us get situated there again. He and Tammy are that good.

Dan was one of three entities that were contacted about the work. What set Dan apart was that he had done great work for us in the past and also suggested ways to keep the wood rot problem from occuring again. Dan started and completed the work two days later. He replaced and painted the rotted wood pieces, painted the bottom of other pieces to prevent similar wood rot, replaced the tread on the ladder (even to replicating the original grooves) and installed a gutter, downspout and splash guard to help prevent mildew on the storage building. His workmanship in all these tasks was outstanding.

Thing went excellently with him. He charges $40 an hour. He is very professional, very polite, and he got jobs done when they were supposed to be done. He did an excellent job overall.

I hired Dan to put in new back door and install pet door at my son's house. He also installed rods in porch. He was prompt and professional and it works and looks great. He is very pleasant and gets right to the task. I live in Orlando and we did a lot of discussion on telephone so he made it easier for me and I just went up the day of installation. He seemed very knowledgeable in all areas so I will be using him for future needs as my son's house is old and still needs some work.

He was there for an hour and a half and also had to go to Home Depot for parts. He did an execellent job.

The quality of his work is outstanding, and he can tackle pretty much anything. He's always been professional, considerate and timely, and he goes to great lengths to find solutions that are in our best interest, even if it wasn't initially what we thought we wanted. Highly recommended.
