Climber Steve's Tree Care

Steve and his crew were very responsive, well organized, careful, courteous, and effective. We had several laurel oaks and pines removed, a live oak and a sweetgum trimmed. The project took several days but each day they cleaned up all debris. They used several mitigation methods to protect our existing shrubs and trees and structures.

What a great guy Steve is! And what a great crew of guys that work for him. I had some very large pine trees that were right next to my house and outbuildings, requiring a professional to take down because there was no direction they could be dropped without hitting a building or fence. Steve and his climbers took those trees down by climbing them, cutting off the branches, then cutting the trunk in sections and lowering each section to the ground. There was no damage to any building, and they even took down and put back up a section of fence to prevent damage to it. One of the important reasons I hired Steve was his wood chipper - he has an enormous chipper that can take logs up to 12" diameter, so they chipped everything but the trunks and by my request left two piles of mulch that I can use. They were very diligent about cleaning up and spent a lot of time raking the debris to leave the property just as they found it. Lastly, between the time I got the quote and the time they arrived to do the work, three additional trees had died (powderpost beetles most likely) so Steve added those onto the job and gave me a great price. While I imagine most arborists have similar skill levels, I think Steve goes above and beyond to make sure the client is happy and to accommodate any special situations. I will definitely hire him again when the need arises.
