They only provide a temporary fix. I wish they could provide more lasting service.

tVery unprofessional. Workmen did not clean area they worked in and left cigarette ashes on the floor until we asked them to clean it up. They did not set water temperature properly. On the following Friday, when we expected four holiday guests for a long weekend, we called B&H and asked for someone to come out and increase the temperature. A B&H employee said someone would be out that afternoon. No one showed and we kept running out of hot water. As of the date (12/27/2014) of writing this review, B&H still has failed to show.

I Band H Plumbing through my home warranty; I didn't have a choice on the service provider. The repair man that showed up was one of the most unprofessional (and frankly disgusting) people that I have ever had in my home. He made lewd remarks the entire time, solicited work outside of Band H Plumbing, and proceeded to make me incredibly uncomfortable. I was so glad to be there and that my sister didn't have to be alone in the house with this man. Even though I was not receptive to his advances or solicitation of outside work, he still insisted to give me his cell number on the back of my receipt and told me that we had a job interview at another company. I wanted to wait a bit before posting this review, in case it got back to him. I never want someone like that in my home again. Regarding the price, I had to pay a the service charge from my home warranty, which was the $100. I should have done it myself to save on money and the harassment.

Went well. Technician promptly answered emergency call on a Sunday night at 8 PM, fixed clog, then we scheduled trap repair for later. Work was completed promptly and job was well done. No hitches. Pricing seems reasonable, as far as plumbing work goes.

They were prompt and very good. They take things really seriously.

He did come to my home and spent(wasted) at least an hour of my time. He said he lived near me and would leave work early and make my home his last stop. He looked at my bathroom and promised to provide the estimate in the next day or so. I am still waiting. I think his real intention was to get off work early because he had his kids in the car already. I don't think he ever intended to provide an estimate. I would not use this company again.

Over all the issue was taken care of. I’m just not sure if it was a more serious issue if the guys they sent would know what to do.

The plumber had to unclog a messy sink. He did it neatly and efficiently.

I was told they would be there between 12-2pm. They called at 1:45 to let me know they were on their way and they arrived just before 2pm. I gave them a B instead of an A for professionalism because he left dirty drip marks from the bathroom to the front door when he carried the old toilet away. It was easy to clean up, so it wasn't a real problem. Overall, the new install went well and I'm very happy. We will consider them for the guest bath remodel.

We had a water line break in the backyard . . on Saturday night. We had to turn off the water to the entire house. Band H came out on Sunday morning and looked at the job -- it required digging to find the leak. Bobby suggested that we wait until Monday (the next day) so he could get a tractor to do the digging -- rather than pay an hourly rate for manual digging. Four guys showed up the next day with the tractor, pipes and the sod to patch the lawn. They found TWO breaks in the water caused by tree roots: one for the house and one for the irrigation system. They worked in the miserable heat and repaired both lines. We had water by late afternoon . . . just in time for another big storm. Band H has done work for us for many years , , , I just called them again today to look at a slow draining toilet! They are always prompt, courteous and fairly priced.

Their failure to show up or call for an appointment seems to me a good indication of their reliability.

The plumber came out and looked at the situation and told me it was a quick job. The water was turned off and I left the plumber to his job as I had a meeting and had to leave the facility. I informed the plumber that the staff at the reception desk could help him with any questions. The plumber proceeded to use a torch to solder the replacement copper pipe into the area that he had removed due to leaking. This is where things went wrong as the plumber burnt the wall and melted the vinyl base board. The solder was dropped onto the new vinyl flooring that was installed just a few days before. No effort was made to prevent damage to the building. When I returned a few hours later I was obviously upset with the work done especially as the pipe was still leaking. I called Band H Plumbing and explained the situation and they said they would send the plumber back. Upon his return, the plumber had an attitude and I explained I was upset that my bathroom has burn marks on the wall and the pipe was still leaking. He said he would deal with it. He did something and left without any communication with staff, as he walked out to his truck and just drove off. So, now I look at the bathroom and find it's still leaking and we cannot see anything has been changed. I call the office and this time I was a lot more firm with them and said we needed a plumber to fix the actual problem. Band H Plumbing had their plumber call me and it was a very heated exchange of words. I explained that after two attempts, we have not moved forward and I have a leaking pipe still but have also gained damage to the bathroom walls and vinyl. The plumber told me I should have fixed it myself then! Needless to say, at this point I was beyond angry. I called Band H Plumbing again and demanded that a manager or owner contact me. I received a call from a manager who said he would be out there the next day to inspect the work but in the meantime he would have a different plumber come and fix the leaking pipe. This plumber came out and rather than try to replace just 12” or so of pipe, he said it was better practice to replace the entire run under the sink which he proceeded to do. He did a fantastic job and didn't do any further damage to the room. Despite a very horrible experience, the manager did call by the next day to check the work and I showed him the photographs I had taken of the work that had been done the day before. The manager apologized and offered a full refund. A check was mailed to me promptly. I don’t want to knock the reputation of an entire company from a bad experience with just one employee, but clearly the employee had quality, communication and anger issues. He should not have been in a situation where he was representing this company.

They were courteous and professional, and I was happy with them.

The plumber arrived on time and got to work. The old drain did not match the sink in any way. A lot of work was involved. He spent over 3 hours, but only charged me for two. He did a great job and left very little mess for me to clean up.

When the kitchen sink clogged after putting carrot peelings down the garbage disposal side I called B and H. They came out that day (Saturday). Josh had difficulty snaking the drain...but finally managed to clear it. However about two hours later the same thing happened. I called B and H and Josh came back out. He could not pass the snake. But the sink was draining.. A couple of days later the sink completely occluded. I called B and H and they sent John out. He had a flexible camera and saw a cable in the drain line. He said they would need a half day to come in and cut the pipe. The next day I called B and H in the morning to please come out again. We have 9 month old twin boys and the need for cleaning bottles and cleaning the kitchen was getting to a crisis. B and H sent out two very experienced men who were able to retrieve the cable with of all things, a coat hanger! The drain was still sluggish since the original snaking did not work because of the broken cable. And there was a small leak that needed soldering. So they arranged for another technician to come out to do those repairs. He arrived a couple hours later and fixed everything! I was never charged for anything but the initial visit. I mean...they were determined to fix that drain. In addition, we had installed a new faucet with a pull down spray and did not need the side spray. Josh had a cap to cover the side spray hole in his truck and did this for us. I cannot say enough about the Professionalism of their plumbers. They explained everything. Cleaned up after themselves. And, just a few minutes ago B and H called to be sure that the problem was solved and that I was pleased. I will never use another plumbing company! I recommend that everyone in Gainesville use B and H! They are simply fabulous!

They are quite prompt. Their pricing is good, and they do good work. My wife has dealt with them quite a bit and she really likes them. They also remodeled a bathroom for us.

I knew what the problem was and tried to snake it myself. Needed a motorized snake with a special head to finally get around a difficult corner in the pipes. Problem now solved until the next time!

I've used them for years. They are okay. They are not perfect but they do good work. They are better than average. I always spend between $100-$200. Their prices are the same as everybody else. I will continue to use them.

The customer service stood out to me.

B and H was very responsive to any concerns or questions I asked before and during the remodel. B and H was punctual on job and always called about any possible delay. The workers were professional and courteous. I love my new master bathroom. I recommend B and H to family, friends, and neighbors.

They arrived on time. They did a good job. They were professional.

I called late Thursday afternoon and spoke to Wayne and made an appointment for them to come out Friday morning at 10am to give me a free estimate of the work that needed to be completed. At first, Bobby thought the entire sewer line might need to be replaced at the tune of $1700.00. Bobby said they could hand dig up the pipe were they knew there was a problem and then go from there ... trying to save me some money. They were so honest about the entire process. Keeping me in the loop the entire time, since I am an absent owner of the property. I would recommend B and H Plumbing to all of my family and friends in Gainesville. They are prompt, courteous, and honest. They were an absolute pleasure to work with! Thank you Wayne and Bobby!! You made my holidays so much happier!

They did what I asked them to do and we had no problems. I don't think that they even tried to charge us for coming out. They showed me how to learn whether it is clogged or not and whether it was just a new type of toilet and how to prevent it. It turned out to be an educational day and that information has worked. They are a very reputable company around here and have been there for a very long time. The experience of working with them was wonderful. It was educational and informative, and they don't charge you more than they need to.

B and H cleaned out the shower and bath drains (snaked). Both were running slowly. The plumber arrived on time (they remembered to call me 30 minutes ahead so I could come from work home). Because my house and pipes are old, he used a manual snake and tested all appliances on those pipes to see that everything was running smoothly. Even got some helpful advice about my outside faucet.

They are pretty good. It's a big company, so they always have somebody on call. It's easy to get them out. There have been a few problems, but I've generally been happy with them.
