The guys did a great job! They were quick and friendly and didn't mind that my two year old wanted to help them. They don't remove stumps but had someone that they recommended and I was happy with them, too.

Unfortunately, I can't speak to the quality of Derrick's work, although I'm sure it's good. Our first contact was on June 1st by email. I requested he come out for a quote, and he responded *very* quickly to let me know he would not be able to come out until June 11th. He offered to send one of his managers in his place should I need it looked at earlier, but I didn't, so I agreed to June 11th. He confirmed by email that he would come over on June 11th at 4PM for an estimate. On June 11th at 4PM, no one showed up. I understand that sometimes jobs take a bit longer than expected, so I gave him an additional 20 minutes before I called him. He didn't answer, so I left a voicemail stating that I understood our meeting time to be 4PM that day and for him to give me a call to let me know when he would come by. He did not call at all on June 11th, nor did he show up. On June 12th, he called at 2PM and asked whether he could come by later that day, providing no explanation as to why he couldn't make it out for the originally scheduled appointment. I don't need details, especially if he missed the appointment for personal reasons because that's none of my business, but it would be nice to receive some sort of explanation, even if it was and quot;Sorry, some personal issues came up, so I wasn't able to contact you and let you know I wouldn't be available for our appointment.and quot; I expect respect from the people with whom I'm planning to conduct business, and missing an appointment without contacting is not respectful. As far as the June 12th meeting went, his primary sales tactic was to talk about other tree companies' poor quality rather than focusing on his company's quality. I will state that it does sound like he knows his business well and really cares for the trees and wants to ensure he only removes/trims trees that truly need the work. I appreciate that he and his crew limit their use of tree spikes, as they want the trees to maintain health. But my suggestion is for Derrick to focus his pitch on his own quality work rather than tearing others down. He left the visit stating he would get back to me with a written estimate, as I requested. We didn't discuss a timeline for when he would provide the written estimate, so that's on me. However, it did take longer than I expected. His visit was on the 12th and I didn't receive the written estimate until June 18th. All of this is to say -- Derrick did seem very knowledgeable of his business. However, based on his missing the original appointment without contact and 6-day turnaround on the written estimate, I couldn't, in good faith, choose his services. I hope he takes this review as constructive criticism.

I have A LOT of very tall hedges, azaleas and various other shrubs in my yard which had become overgrown and unkempt. Derrick of Arborscape and his crew spent several days grooming all the plants and making my yard look like something out of Southern Living. They were very professional - arrived on time, stayed busy and hauled away the trash - leaving my yard looking wonderful. Derrick returned phone calls promptly, let me know if there was going to be any delays and was very courteous. Additionally, my neighbor on the other side of the hedges was very pleased with their work. I would readily recommend Arborscape.

Derek came out and gave me verbal estimate to remove and trim up trees on our property. I then asked him to provide a written quote. He said he would need to come back out to the property. Even after several calls and several promises by Derek to come out and provide us with a written quote he never showed, never called and never sent a quote.

Arborscape does live up to its 110% motto. The crew did an excellent job of trimming our trees and shrubs and laying down mulch. Because of unforeseen cicumstances, the crew laid down the mulch first and came back the next day to trim the shrubs. This resulted in the clippings laying all over the new mulch. The crew leader tried to fix that situation but had to quit because of a torrential downpour. Later, even the owner himself came to clean up, a true example of 110% effort. Overall, the crew and owner were all very friendly and respectful, their workmanship was top notch, their commitment to complete the job was excellent and the price was low.

Contacted the company on a Monday to have them come out to give an estimate on some landscaping and stump removal. Owner responded immediately and set an appointment to come out on Tuesday a.m. He was a few minutes late but not really an issue for me. We walked the lawn and I explained what I needed done. I wanted the front lawn done first along with removal of a stump in the back yard.He told me he had a couple of busy days but would get back to me with a plan and estimate. I told him that was fine as I was not in a real hurry except for the stump removal. Told him I needed the stump out so I could build a raised bed vegetable garden in that location and plants needed to go in. Gave him a couple of days and then phoned to see where we were with the plan and estimate. He said he had been and quot;spread pretty thinand quot; and would have the estimate by Saturday or Monday. It has now been two weeks since we first met and have not heard from him. Got another company to remove the stump and I started clearing the front landscaping myself. Not good business.

They came right out to give us an estimate. It was NOT the lowest estimate out of the FIVE that we got, but we went with them because we felt more comfortable with them than the other four and because they were insured AND had great reviews on Angie's List. We are very pleased with the work they did.

Derrick responded promptly to my initial phone call, and we scheduled an appointment to walk through the property. We spent about an hour discussing options. He took pictures of four trees that I wanted removed, and gave me a verbal estimate confirmed in writing several days later. Most importantly, he prepared all the necessary paperwork for review of the plan by the neighborhood association. Once I received permission to go ahead with the project, including the tree removal, clearance of underbrush, and canopy lifting, Derrick scheduled the work promptly. We were very happy with the thoroughness of the job; including his 'extra' birthday present for my mother - powerwashing the front walk - at no charge. We definitely would recommend them to anyone needing extensive tree work on their property.

All went very well, stayed on schedule, and in communication with me. Derrick and his crew were very creative, and within my tastes. I would recommend Arborscapes for any landscaping project.

Arborscapes is simply the best landscaping/tree service company I've ever dealt with. He met with me the day I called and his quote beat all comers by a mile. The work was tremendous and done in a timely manner (i.e. the next day). Derrick and his crew are all extremenly courteous, professional, and hard working. I honestly can't say enough good things about them. I've used them in the past, am using them now (doing some landscaping at my old residence), and will definately be using them again.

Called Arborscape to come trim trees around the border of my 11 acre property. I'd had estimates from others running around 1000 a tree!!! But Arborscape's pricing was more than fair and honest, plus the work done was really impressive. Not only that, but they didn't tear up the rest of my property getting debris out -- the lawn and yard remained intact! I can't recommend them highly enough!
