Description of Work: Stephen has a pleasant personality. He did good work when he did it, however, he comingled my advanced payment with other jobs and didn't show up for weeks and weeks. He is very unreliable and does not show up when he says he will. He stretched a one day job out to several weeks. There was a lighting safety issue at our store that put us at risk because of Stephen's irresponsibility, and we had to walk out into a dark parking lot in a bad neighborhood with our cash pickup for several weeks. Nothing like walking into the dark loaded down with cash. I eventually hired another vendor and all of the required work was done in a few hours. My advice is to find someone who will do what he says he will do when he says he will do it. You may pay extra, but someone else will do the job better.

+ 0 moreWhile checking this home, he also found a substancial water leak we were not aware of and repaired that for minimal cost. Corrected HVAC work done by another firms- again at minimal cost. We are already making arrangements for him to do more work on this home. As well as licensed electricianl he has extensive knowslege of all construction phases. AND he will work on mobil homes, which many companies don't want to bother with. Yes , you might have to wait awhile, but the wait is worth it.
Description of Work: Complete electrical check of older mobile home. Recommendations and repairs.

+ -1 moreWas quick to come out on schedule to give estimate. Contracted about 1st of the month. Asked to start on the 5th or 9th, and opted for the 9th to give more time to procure materials, etc. Forgot to come out on the 9th entirely, and finally got around to in on the afternoon of the 10th. Was originally told that it was only a few hours work, perhaps a day and a half. A small amount of wood rot was discovered, and a couple of hours were added to the original estimate. Was still told that it would be done by the end of the week. It wasn't. The following week, he failed to show up at all, and went on vacation on Thursday with the work still unfinished. The following Monday, I called a second contractor who finished the job in a few hours on Tuesday afternoon. The original carpenter still has not come out to pick up his equipment and materials, so I haven't been able to negotiate a price for the few hour of work that he did complete.
Description of Work: Hired to do exterior carpentry on home (replace rotted wood siding, soffit, eaves, etc).
