They were very upfront and honest about how they charged. It was going to be a little more than I had wanted to pay because they had to charge by the pound with a 1000lb minimum. I had a pleasant experience with them and was happy with the fact that they were so up front with me.

They took an inventory of my household goods that I would be moving and storing with them and gave me a quote about how much it would be. It was a very good experience and I signed with them. I would use them again.

They were not very responsive. They had to be called back to make an appointment to come in and do a quote and then I had to call them again to get the quote after a couple of days. They ended up being a little more expensive than the company that I finally used. I don't how good their service would have been since I didn't really use them. They were right on time for the appointment but I did have to call them back both to come and do the quote and to get the quote. They didn't follow up. They are probably a good company but they were not as customer-oriented or sales focused as I wanted them to be.

This is a very professional moving company. I called and met with four other companies before choosing this one. The cost of the move was explained in detail by the AAA Gold Coast representative. We went through the house and discussed each piece to be moved. Also the cost of wrapping the special china. The day of the move three gentleman arrived on time with all needed equipment. They very carefully wrapped each piece of furniture before loading on truck. D.J. wrapped my mothers set of china in a way that I feel will keep them safe until needed. Michael--the supervisor went through the house with me to be sure the correct pieces would be moved. The whole move was accomplished in about 31/2 hours with all furniture intact and no problems. I really want to comment on how professional Michael, Vaughn and DJ not only looked but the high quality of their performance. I have heard so many horror stories about moving that I am grateful my move went so well.

Both sets of crews were excellent. We went from a 1 story house to a 3 story town home. This means the crew that unloaded us in Ft. Lauderdale had quite a job moving our things up a winding staircase. We were very concerned with getting the bigger pieces of furniture to the 2nd and 3rd floor, but they took their time and were able to do it. The one problem was with a heavy television stand that began to fall apart once it was unloaded. Unfortunately it wasn't going to hold together so we had to replace it.

I had alot of frustrating time on the phone.When I had to start dealing with a rep. is when it went down hill. They got my name wrong on the contract, so I asked if she would put it in my boyfriends name , she told me that was fraud....?I just can't deal with foolishness. so we went eleswhere.

They were the least expensive and did the best job. They were professional, efficient, and treated my items like they were own. I was working with a tight schedule, and they were very accomodating. They were terrific, wonderful people.

Are you sitting down? The moving team was EARLY! (Does that ever happen in Florida?) They introduced themselves (Will, Mario and Delroy) and worked swiftly, carefully and professionally at all times. I was a nervous wreck because let's face it, moving is stressful. These 3 guys honestly took the stress away. Our stuff is going into a brand new warehouse and they handled everything like it was their own. They drive safely - practice safe working habits and were just a pleasant group of guys. Of note - 2 of the guys were not feeling so well at the beginning of the day and they worked right through it. I have not seen hard working men like this in a very long time. If you want to see a company that hires employees with work ethics, then this is your moving company. From the very start, Mike McManus put us at ease. You just felt confident that Allied was going to take care of everything without any of the "B.S." that many moving companies will try and sell you. I interviewed over 8 moving companies in S. Florida. I inspected their warehouses, too - DO NOT waste your time and book an appointment with ALLIED and ask for Mike McManus if you are in S FLA. I was stressed out to the max for over 4 months -- and upon meeting this guy and his team, I felt instant relief. They even called me when they arrived at the warehouse and called me again when they were storing our belongings.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD. THEY WERE ON TIME AND READY TO WORK. THEY PACKED ALL OF OUR LARGE ITEMS. THEY WRAPPED ALL OUR FURNITURE TO KEEP IT SAFE. THEY ARRIVED AT OUR NEW HOME EARLIER THAN EXPECTED.
