A Best Locksmith

We scheduled an appointment with Gary on Monday for a 10:20 AM arrival on Wednesday. Gary arrived on time and quickly took care of the 6 locks. I would definitely recommend his company.

Lock to our safe broke and we had something we needed to get out on this Saturday afternoon. Called and Gerry said he would come within the hour, which he did. He worked hard and even brought the safe outside so he wouldn't get metal shards in the house. He was very pleasant to deal with.

He was courteous, asked what my needs were, and got to work immediately. There was a lot of activity with movers taking boxes and furniture into the house, but he worked fast and did not slow their work.

We had a problem with one of our PGT French doors as the lock had jammed on the vertical locking system. We had been to many locksmiths but none would service this type and the manufacturer didnt want to know unless we were buying new ones. I found A Best Locksmith on Angies List and emailed on a Saturday and the company actually came out on Labor day to have a look. Agreed to fix it or not be charged but the locks were too damaged to be repaired. A few days later they had clearly thought about the problem further and came back to try something else which did fix the door and the locking system. I was really impressed by the responsiveness, value for money and the shear persistence to fix the problem. Definitely a contact to keep for the future.

He had to make me a new key and take the knob off. Gerry, the owner, was so nice. He was excellent and I highly recommend him.

My car was locked and not responding to the battery powered key, nor the manual one. I tried everything possible before calling the locksmith. First of all and most important - they were on time!!! Had a tenant skip after changing locks without notifying us and badly needed to get into the apartment. Scheduled originally through the web site but realized we need them ASAP so called and they said they would be right down, which they were. We have used other locksmiths several times before and A-Best not only is less expensive, but I found them to be more professional and very helpful. And they didn't try to sell anything extra. They just did their job well. Also they left extra keys without charging extra. What a surprise!!! I certainly would use them again.

Gerry was very promt, friendly and professional. The day he came was a difficult one for me, and he was able to come an hour later than our original appointment time. That day was the 2nd anniversary of my mothers passing, and I was slow to get going, so I was grateful for his understanding. I had been wanting to change the locks and fancy up the front door. I just bought a place and wanted to get the locks changed. I called A-Best Locksmith hoping to get a next day appointment. I was pleasantly surprised when Gerry said he would be over in a half hour! (He told me later that he had a cancellation. So, I actually got lucky). Once Gerry arrived, I showed him the three locks that needed to be changed, and he got right to work. He re-keyed two of them and changed the third. The entire visit lasted less than 30 minutes, from the time he rang my bell to the moment he swiped my credit card to end the transaction. The service provided was not for me. It was for my neighbor who locked herself out. My husband tried to help but was not able to. As an Angie?s list member I started searching for a locksmith. Called several and all were very polite but could not handle emergencies. Then I called Gerry from A-Best locksmith.
