I called this company to do an annual duct and ac maintenance in 2020 and was told I needed to redo my ducts because the fiberglass was damaged and my AC needed replacement. I spent over $6000 for a new AC unit and duct repair. Since the unit was installed it has broken down 3 times. The 1st time was withing 24 hours after being installed. The 1st time it was the programable thermostat that came with the unit malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. The repairment sent did not have the programable so he placed an older model. Six months later once again the unit stopped cooling. This time it was the compressor that needed replacement. Now a year later again the unit is broken down again. This time it took 4 days for the same crook Kobe to come out and try to get me to pay over $1200 for a surge protector and new blower motor. They were supposed to service the unit every 6 months to prevent issues but never came out to do it in the 2 years since they installed the system. I paid a lot of money for a new unit that was supposed to be of great quality with a 10 year warranty with 5 years of free maintenance . It should not break 3 times in 2 years of being purchased.

This is Felix Vega. I had service done in my Condo on 04/29/2020. After further inquiry and investigation I came out with some disturbing news. I requested to have my ducts cleaned for the advertised price of $79 for 7 vents. Eyal a sales rep came to my Condo to check vents. I thought he was coming for a cleaning. Obviously a tactic used by most companies. Eyal put a scope up my vents with camera and stated I have mold in my vents. She proceeded to show me. Which I believed him. Obviously here comes the sales tactics and up sale. It went from $79 for cleaning to $3325 for other things including cleaning up so called mold. I agreed without knowing if it was actually mold. I assumed and believed Eyal knew what he's doing and talking about. I called around and found out I was being way overcharged. I was given a quote of $1829 to do the same job Eyal was having done. I called back to your office and spoke with manager Kevin and he brought the price down to $1600. Which it seemed like a bargain at the time. I agreed. After further investigation I purchased a Screen Endoscope Camera. I put it in the vents and could see that vents were coated. But as I looked at screen I noticed that it has an option to take pictures. Which I didn't notice on Eyal's screen. Which leads me to believe there is a possibility that I was actually looking at someone else's vents instead of mine. Disturbing if thats the case. So I decided to look into this a little further. And. Found out EPA states that cleaning air vents the way that was recommended doesn't prevent health problems. Neither do studies conclusively demonstrate that particle (e.g., dust) levels in homes increase because of dirty air duct. Further more if the sales reps advise you that there is substantial visible mold growth inside hard surface (e.g., sheet metal) ducts or on other components of your heating and cooling system. There are several important points to understand concerning mold detection in heating and cooling systems: You should be aware that although a substance may look like mold, a positive determination of whether it is mold or not can be made only by an expert and may require laboratory analysis for final confirmation. For about $50, some microbiology laboratories can tell you whether a sample sent to them on a clear strip of sticky household tape is mold or simply a substance that resembles it. So in summary I feel that the $1600 I paid i was still overcharged. Since Eyal is no expert to tell me that what he saw was mold. Since he didn't have the substance in vents tested by a lab. Like required above by EPA. I looked up customer reviews and BBB reviews. I believe I will be filing a complaint to the BBB since I believe I was scammed into believing I had mold and had extra work done which may been unnecessary. Since again Eyal is no expert in determining what is mold or not. I believe I would've been good with just having air ducts cleaned for $79. I'm not happy nor satisfied. I have posted on Facebook and reported this to BBB as my email was never responded to. I will continue to post where I see anything about this company.

Terrible deceitful company - only wanted to upsell and charge me more. The ads are a bait and switch and it is unlikely your ducts would get as clean as the pictures show in the ad for $9 vent. To get that clean you almost always need the rotary brush with Hepa vac. However that is not what you get for $9. The rotary brush with Hepa Vac is actually $30 dollars a vent. Then they push sanitizer for another $150 dollars and also a UV light on my brand new AC. These are generally joke additions that they make sound so important and then they try to bully you into accepting their BS. Fortunately, as scientist and medical professional I know the actual science. Currently the EPA has not approved sanitizer for ductwork! "At this time, the EPA has not accepted any disinfectant, sanitizer or fungicidal products for use in the ductwork of HVAC systems." This is from the white paper by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association and I would encourage everyone to visit this site before this company comes to your house. Don't let people bully you into unapproved chemicals and add-ons with their BS. I also requested the free air flow test to check for leaks in the ductwork. This was important to me. Imagine my shock and surprise when the tech did the free air flow test by putting his hand up to one vent and then saying "its good." That was the very scientific free air flow test! LOL. I was so mad I almost burst. That proved to me this company was a joke and only out for the money. They insisted they finish the estimate. On the phone I was told $30/vent for 10 vents = $300. But they insisted on adding the unapproved EPA sanitizer for another $150 so my total was $450 which is now $45 dollars a vent. The sanitizer is like the liquor where restaurants make the big money. No wonder they insisted it had to be added and attempted their bully techniques to make me pay. Unfortunately for them it only made me so mad for wasting my time that I wrote this review to warn everyone I can about my terrible experience with this company. I am also filing a complaint with the FTC and BBB.

When I called the company to inquire about getting an estimate, they said that as long as the coils did not need cleaning it would run around $250 to have the services done. When they came out and did the initial inspection, they had written down that I was interested in the coils being cleaned as well. They said they took a picture of the coil to show us that it needed cleaning. My brother was there with me during this. The technician said that he would need to cut out the coil, soak it in an acid wash, and then re-solder the coil back in place. This seemed extensive. My brother asked if he could look at the coils themselves, not just the picture they had taken and the technician would not show it to us. He refused saying it would be too complicated. The price to do this "cleaning" raised the cost to close to $600.00 from the original $250.00. They were nice enough to allow me to back out of the services. I did not want to have them do the work after the cost had jumped so high. The situation just felt very sketchy and like a con.
Description of Work: They originally were going to clean the air ducts and sanitize the vents and air ducts.

$93. DON'T LET THESE GUYS IN YOUR HOUSE! I should have realized their advertised price of $5 a vent was too low to be real. That was just a way to get inside my house. Ten minutes into the job, "Shlomey" informed me that I needed a new UV bulb: $250. Next, he noted mold in my a/c system, and recommended treatment ($150). I had the bulb replaced by my regular A/C guy, for only $93. Then he showed me that not only had they failed to treat the mold correctly -- there was still a layer of mold clearly visible inside the air handler. They never connected a vacuum to my upstairs A/C vent system, so all they did was stir up the dust and mold. What a rip-off!
Description of Work: Cleaned A/C vents. Treated system for mold infestation.

During repairs to our home including the plastering of our living room ceiling, it was discovered that our old sheet metal air conditioning ducts were leaking, causing stains and mildew. Since it was important to replace the ducts quickly so that the other work projects could continue as scheduled, we called USA Air Conditioning who had done satisfactory work for us in the past. USA Air Conditioning quickly sent our two of their staff to look at the work that needed to be done and to give us a cost estimate. They agreed that the existing ducts had to be replaced, but that only four of the drops had to be replaced. They quoted a price of $3,600 for the work and said it could be completed in the next two days. Two other employees showed up late morning the following day and immediately said that the estimators were incorrect and that all the drops had to be replaced. I talked to someone at the main office who agreed to have all the drops replaced at the price quoted. The two employees completed their work in two days. In my opinion, they were extremely unprofessional and very unfriendly with poor communication skills. For example, one of them dropped the old corroded sheet metal air conditioning ducts from the access hole in the ceiling onto the floor instead of handing them down to the other worker who was standing below. They made a tremendous mess of our hallway filled with family photographs. But since they did complete the work within the two days and the air was working when the left, we paid the $3.600. Once all the repair work was completed, we noticed that one side of the house was warm while the other side was too cool. Due to the unprofessionalism of the USA Air employees,we called our general contractor's air conditioning firm to check out the problem. They found that sections of the old sheet metal ducts were never replaced, ducts were not sealed, none of the ducts were strapped, the ducts already had condensation and only five of the drops had been replaced. I verified the findings. It was determined that it would have been useless to try and fix USA Air's problems, so we had all of it removed and had it all redone with another firm. I could not trust USA Air to do it, even if they were willing. I rated USA Air's price as F since I paid $3,600 and got nothing for it.

I didn’t like them. They came in and signed a contract and changed the AC. Then they tuned around. They were supposed to provide a filter that I could wash. They never did it. So I put it up to them that for a year they never basically changed the filter. Recently I called them to come in and do the yearly service. They came in and did the yearly service. The guy recommended me to change something but the AC was not even a year old. They just started to make excuses. I would not recommend those guys to anybody. The service was supposed to be free for cleaning up the ducts. I honestly didn’t like how they did things.

They started by putting in air-condoning and they put a cage around it. They charged $700 just for the cage. They also painted the house, changed 3 windows in the front and they were putting in cabinets that I purchased. This installation was not done correctly. They needed to replace the piping and there were holes in it after they did so. The house flooded because the front windows were not sealed properly, and the front door didn't have a strip on the bottom which causes it to leak as well. There has been major water damage in the bedroom and bedroom closet and Its made everyone sick in the house. The new carpets have been ruined. The company put in machines to destroy the mold and said they were supposed to be there for 4 days. They ended up being removed after 2 and half days. I have evidence that the mold is still there. Additionally, they were supposed to repair my pool which has not been done. There are still cracks on the bottom of it. I feel like I have been way overcharged, and they haven't even completed the work yet. I purchased all of the materials and have put over $70,00 into the house-it is still unlivable. I've gotten other estimate since that were around $30,000 for all the work. I've tried several times to get in touch with the company, but I haven't heard from them in about a month.
Description of Work: I bought a house that was a foreclosure and I had them remodel the house for me.

My experience was awful. They are completely unprofessional (no uniforms on any employees just regular street clothes with no ID). They tried to over charge me for cleaning my dryer vent. The man argued with me about my vent being on the roof. I identified myself as a stay at mom and I think he saw $$$ (he assumed he could rip me off). I assured him that my dryer vent was on the first floor and he continued to get aggressive and argue. I told him I'd be happy to show him and then he backed off. They cleaned the air ducts with like a giant vacuum cleaner and then proceeded to tell me that they needed this special treatment because we had a lot of bacteria in our ducts (of course for an additional cost). They put a sticker on my AC unit that claims they are my air conditioner repair people (which they are not). Then my AC which was a brand new unit (less than 3 years old) broke and started leaking?? I'm sure they monkey'ed with my AC unit as well. BEWARE!! Do not use this company for ANYTHING or you'll regret it. You won't save any money!! I have used several contractors from angies list and the reviewers don't lie. Trust someone else with your business.
Description of Work: I called this company after I got read their advertisement in the coupon super saver magazine. I wanted to get my dryer vent cleaned and they advertised a rate of "$39" to clean it. They came in and cleaned the vent. I also wanted an analysis of the air ducts to see the quality of air that was being recycled through the ducts. This was $450 to clean the ducts because I guess they will filled with debris, dirt and germs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Description of Work: I found a coupon for this company in the VALPAK that I received in the mail at my home. I called the office and spoke to someone who quoted my a price of $100 to clean the A/c vents and my dryer vent. I verified the services that would be performed and also the price quoted. At that time I scheduled and appointment to have the work done. The technicians came out as scheduled. However, when they arrived they advised me that the charge would be approximately $700. I told the technicians the price I was quoted and they replied, "the people that answer the phones do not know the actual prices". At that time I told technician that I only had the $100 for the service and he shpould only clean the dryer vent. While cleaning the dryer vent, the technician kept lowering the total cost for the originally requested services all the way down to $250. THIS IS THE WORST CAST OF FALSE ADVERTISING AND "BAIT AND SWITCH" THAT I EXPERIENCED. This company should loose it's license as well as their State Certification.

I got one of their coupons and they told me that it was going to be $19, but they charged me $49. They were not professional. I went to check on them and they were using my room and my equipment. They were late. I had to call up to find out where they were. They had a 4-hour window. It would have been nice if they would have told me that it would be $49. When I called them, the lady I spoke to was very rude on the phone. The advertised price was great. It was probably a fair price and I never had it done before. So, I don?t really know about the price. Their quality was fine. I wouldn?t use them again.

My tenant complained of allergies so I called for an ESTIMATE on duct cleaning. USA Air Duct cleaning said they'd have to go out to look at the condo to give an accurate estimate. The condo is a 1 bdrm/1 bath unit with a total of three (3) vents! The technician, Michael Orlando, went beyond the scope of my request and took it upon himself to go up on the roof, tried to up-sell me on new coil, blower, vents, etc. All I wanted was a quote on duct cleaning. He even had the audacity to call me back to try to sell me an A/C unit for $1800. Then I find out he had the gall to ask my 75 yr old tenent for payment. I never gave any authorization for them to do any work. But he charged my tenant $29 for his time. Even worse, now the A/C leaks after he monkeyed with it. SHAME.
Description of Work: No services were authorized or performed. However, after monkeying with the A/C unit, now the A/C leaks and they won't return my calls after 3 days.
