I highly recommend Jason Kronk Landscape Design! Jason listened to what I wanted for my front yard overhaul (eg., very little maintenance required), and he created a beautiful design with trees and various types of lovely flower-producing plants. He is extremely knowledgeable, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. My front yard looks wonderful and I have received many compliments. I am so happy that I found Jason here on Angie's list!

He was very professional, answered all my phone call immediately, and was always on time. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of his services. Now, he comes by once every two months to take a look at my backyard and make sure everything is growing properly! He even trims and pulls all my weeds for me!!!! He is just the nicest, most honest person I have ever met. I am so happy to recommend Jason for all your landscaping needs!!! He is the BEST!!!

He moved all the mulch 18" from around the house so the tarp used for tenting wouldn't have air pockets. He also removed an old bush, trimmed our overgrown hedges, pulled out weeds, trimmed rose bushes, transplanted a large plant that was too close to the house, removed fronds from our phoenix robellini palm that were touching the roof, and more....

Jason was absolutely the most professional, respectful and genuinely kind landscaper I have ever met! I was visited by SIX landscapers to explain their proposals and Jason was definitely the best one! He really listened to what I wanted and was so kind and had so many unique ideas that I was sure he was the one to make my dreams come true. AND HE DID!!!! He was such a joy to work with and always had a smile on his face... even in 105 degree weather. I would recommend Jason to everyone who needs any kind of lawn maintenance or remodel. I am just overjoyed with my new backyard! It looks like paradise!!!! THANK YOU JASON!!!!!!

He is super conscientious; very knowledgeable; works quickly and efficiently; and is a talented landscape designer. His prices are reasonable.

I left multiple messages and they failed to return my calls. I even tried going to their location and when I arrived at the address they have listed with Angie's List, it was a residence that didn't have anything indicating that it was a landscaping business.

We asked Jason to work his magic on our front yard. We explained to him what we wanted, easy to care for plants that don't require much attention. My husband and I are not knowledgeable about plants so we left the design and plant choices up to Jason. I was surprised that the yard looked lovely from the moment he completed the work. I thought it would take awhile for the plants to fill in but it looked good immediately. It's been a couple of months since the job was completed and all the plants and small trees have taken well. We have done no maintenance to the plants and they look great! We are very happy.

After calling several providers, I contacted Jason, he gave me an approximate cost and said he will confirm once he sees the tree I wanted. He call me next day again to stop by the area and see where it will be planted. He confirmed the cost USD 350.00 and also told me can bring sod to cover the area where the old tree was. That was USD 50 more. He promised to come with the tree and do the work same week, last Thursday at 3:30 pm. He called during the morning to let me know he will be arriving by 5 pm. I appreciate he called to let me know. We thought he was late.... It was almost 6 pm, then he knocked at the door, tree was already planted and sod in place :) He arrived as promised and now we have our tree that we need to nurture and care so it grows strong. He gave us indications on how to take care of it. Jason was very courteous and prompt.

Jason came the day after I called him, fitting me into his already busy schedule. He improved the appearance of the gardens and grounds.

I told him that I wanted something understated and very tasteful and colorful. He didn't provide that and I am not satisfied.

I have been living in South Florida for 30 years now and through experience I have learned that getting quality service, professional workmanship, and a clean job has been far and few between here in Florida. My wife and I spoke with three landscape specialist that we researched on Angie?s List and received their estimates in a timely manner. All three landscaping business came highly rated and the three estimates were all competitively close. When we first met with Jason Kronk from Landscape Design, we were immediately impressed with his friendly, professional, and personable attitude. His initial visit to our home for an estimate was after a very long and hot day of work and he never rushed us in his visit to discuss our landscaping project. He listened to everything we wanted and gave us helpful recommendations. After a few minutes of discussion with Jason on how to resurrect our front yard, his artistry with landscape design was obvious through his visions of transformation. Our landscaping project consisted of demolition of an outdated brick retaining wall lining the front wall of our house and the removal of unwanted shrubs, plants, and trees. After the exhausting cleanup and yard prep work, Jason and his helper created an oasis of beautiful plants and trees surrounding our front porch and the island in the center of our front yard. Jason followed his advertised methods of xeriscaping and installed hardy plants and trees in an arrangement that is very appealing to the eye. We are very happy with the quality of work performed and the final landscaping design. We have received numerous compliments and praise on our new and beautiful landscaping from our neighbors and even strangers walking by. The kind postal delivery woman even gave me a thumbs-up on our fresh new look. Thank you so much Jason for a job well done. It has been over a month now since Jason completed our landscaping project and all the plants and trees are healthy and flourishing.

We were very pleased with him. They had two employees come out, one was Jason the owner. They came at eleven in the morning and left at six at night. He was a pleasant guy, knew what he was talking about. We like a natural look, he listened to that and really did what we wanted.

This is a great landscaper. From the first meeting, to the design, and the final execution, It was a pleasant experience. Jason is a smart easy going guy. Very accommodating and easy to work with. I wanted a spectacular landscape and that's what Jason gave me. What I like most about Jason is his "can do" attitude. The other companies that we got estimates from were telling us everything they would not do that we wanted. Not Jason, he had a positive and did what we wanted and he made it painless.

It went flawlessly. I had obtained less expensive quotes but have no regrets about my choice to use this landscaper because the results I obtained are wonderful. Great ideas. Great work. Couldn't be better.

Jason installed new landscaping in my front yard. It was mostly empty space and he had to start from scratch. He did a beautiful job which I am very pleased with. Jason is very knowledgeable about his subject, and had lots of ideas of plants to use, given the special concerns of my particular area, including lack of sunlight, and no irrigation system. He was very reliable, punctual, professional, and did high quality work. The only thing I wasn't 100% happy with was the price; I felt that I should have gotten more plants and mulch for the price I paid. I wasn't expecting them to be planted so far apart with so much empty space. But he planned it all so that the plants will grow and spread and it will look even better in time. Other than that, I was very, very happy with the results. Jason even came by a month later to check on how the plants were doing and to kill some weeds that were sprouting up. I also asked him to give me some advice about another property and he went to look at it and called me with advice, at no extra charge. I would be happy to recommend Jason to anyone looking for a great landscape professional.

Jason's work was very good, exactly what I wanted. I am the manager of a commercial property in Coral Gables, FL and wanted to have some decaying bushes removed, and have them replaced with weedblock and river stone. The job was done on time, in a timely manner, everything was cleaned up and tidy when he left. My ONLY complaint was that I had to chase Jason a few times to get answers, but overall I would not let this be a deterrent. I would 100% hire Jason Kronk again.

Can I give Jason an A++? We could not be happier! We purchased a home a couple of months ago and the landscaping was tired looking and boring. The yard was full of lava rocks and crown of thorns plants, neither of which say "come on in". I found Jason on Angie's List and met with him to discuss what we wanted. I'd gone to a local nursery and taken photos and made notes about all the plants I really liked. When Jason and I met, I gave him the list and asked him to do what he could with it. We met again a few weeks later and he showed me the plan he'd come up with. He incorporated almost everything I'd asked for and added a few plants I hadn't known about. The price included the design of the new yard, the removal of all of the old plants and lava rock, the topsoil, the labor, and all the new plants, mulch and river rocks. We submitted the plan to our HOA and received approval about 2 weeks ago. Jason came out last week and removed all of the old plants, with the exception of some Christmas Palms that were in very good shape. The exterior of the home was painted earlier this week by Certa-Pro Painters of Sunrise (another great company I found on Angie's List), and Jason and his colleague started work on Thursday. It took 2 days to remove the rest of the lava rock, put in new topsoil, plant all of the trees, shrubs and flowers, mulch the yard, and lay a border of river rock. In addition to redoing our front yard, they planted some Firebush, Jatropha and Thryallis in the back yard, and Jason fertilized all of our palms. I am so very, very pleased with how this job turned out; I keep going outside and clapping my hands like a kid at Christmas! I would not hesitate to recommend Jason to anyone who needs landscape design. We are thrilled! P.S. Our photos don't do justice to the great job Jason did.

Once we decided to let him do the work, things moved very quickly. He had all of the plants & mulch there on the first day & 3/4 of the work was done that day, including planting the trees. The next day when I got home from work it had been completed. He worked without any supervision from us, with just one helper. A number of my neighbors came by to admire the finished product. What I particularly like about his design is that hedges were removed & the beds no longer look boxy. He added curves for interest.

Jason responded very promptly to my telephone call and was able to provide me with an estimate for the work that I wanted done on the spot. He later followed up with an e-mailed written estimate. We scheduled a date approximately two weeks out from his initial visit. That date was eventually moved back another week due to circumstances beyond anyone's control. It actually worked out better for me to have the work done at the later date. On the date in question, Jason showed up around 11:00 AM with a small crew of two or three guys in addition to himself and they set to work promptly. They worked non-stop in the very hot and humid weather for the rest of the morning and all the afternoon. They were very self-sufficient. Everyone in his crew was very pleasant and polite and they all appeared to work well together. The work took two days to complete in hot and humid conditions but neither Jason nor his crew demonstrated any lack of energy or bad temper. I was very pleased with the results. It looks even better than I imagined. I was particularly pleased that the two Foxtail palms which I put in the front yard were larger and more beautiful than I'd anticipated.

From planning to installation the process went very well with Jason. Recently, I added a circular driveway to my front yard and wanted to eliminate any remaining grass and replace it with Florida friendly landscaping. This type of landscaping requires very little fertilizer and irrigation. Jason's knowledge of landscaping was impressive and he came up with an excellent plan to complement the existing landscape with an attractive landscaping solution. The landscaping installation was completed in two days with 2 to 3 people, including Jason, who supervised the entire process. I was very pleased with the final results.

Jason was punctual and professional. He offered suggestions on how to best create an environment that would be easy to take care of without a lot of weed work. His work was excellent and he came back to check on it a few weeks later. He came when he said he would be there and even called to confirm.

Jason cleaned up the entire area where grass was dying. He treated it before laying down new sod. He explained how to best take care of it. He came back to see if it was growing properly and even called within 3 weeks to see if I was happy with the grass.

Jason Kronk is the most knowledgeable landscaper I have met. He is punctual, professional, easy to work with, and was willing to answer all my questions and educate me on care of plants. He has great insight and vision on design -- and he has a particularly keen understanding of color. I had a lot of particular questions and he patiently worked with me to choose plants that looked great and that worked well in my yard. Jason does some of the work himself... and he goes the extra mile to make sure things look great and that I was educated on how to care for my yard. *Highly* recommend!
