Mr. Drake came by and gave us a free estimate for trimming a very tall palm tree in our yard. He was very nice and professional and the price he quoted us was very reasonable. The work was done very well and the trimmings were hauled away. We would definitely recommend his services to anyone in need of tree work!

I called the company and they responded back quickly. They came out the same day and gave me an estimate and went over what I wanted to have done. The next day they were their right on time. They were very thorough and completed the job within a few hours. They cleaned up all debris and hauled off. I was very delighted and pleased with the work they provided. I will use this company again.

Arrived for estimate as promised, quoted fair price, advised as to which areas were top priority. He arrived as scheduled to complete the work with a large crew. Every member of his team were professional, and it was apparent they worked as a family group, even though they were not all related. They were polite, prompt, efficient and unlike every other group I have used for tree work, they cleaned up the area thoroughly when done. The entire job involving several trees in different areas was dispatched quickly and they were on their way. I would definitely recommend them highly to anyone!

I originally contracted a private individual to trim some limbs from a large Oak Tree in my front yard. The individual did cut the limbs, but the service and job was not what I expected. The tree looked unkempt and he left the limbs on the curb, which would have taken the city months to remove. I called Mitch and left a message, he called me back a few hours later, and was at the house the next day to give me an estimate to finish the job that had already been started. The estimate was good, and a few days later Mitch and his crew was at my house to finish the job. The job was completed while I was at work, when I returned home I was surprised at how great the yard looked. Mitch was very professional, reliable, and fast. I will definitely use his service again.

It was a pleasure doing business with Mitch. His crew worked very well together and was very efficient. Very impressive. I felt a bit nickeled and dimed, but understand this is how they make their living. The work, which was extensive, was done within a few hours.

It went excellent and reasonable. The crew showed up on time and went over the project plan to ensure we were both in agreement before beginning. During the project they made a few suggestions that were very helpful and did not move forward unless I agreed. I requested a few changes myself and they were very accepting and it looked really good when they finished. The crew stayed busy the entire time working together, the job was completed quickly and the yard was clean. I would definitely call them again for any tree cutting service.

Gave us a fair estimate - a few dollars more than another quote - and could fit their schedule with ours, so we had them do the work. Came on the promised day at the promised time. Cut all the trees down, trimmed a couple of more, left the mulch in our yard, at our request. All good. Dropped a limb onto the power line to the house. The line held. Okay - but lucky that the line held - the limb should not have hit the power line. Dropped a limb onto the Cable TV line to the house. The line did not hold. It broke. Again, the limb should not have hit the cable TV line. They said they knew somebody at the cable TV company, and would have it repaired that day, or the next. That did not happen. We had to call and schedule someone who did come, six days later. We don't know if the cable TV company or the tree company misled someone; we know we had to wait 6 days for the line to be repaired. The limb that hit the line was NOT over top of the line - just near it. The line should not have been hit. We talked about this during the job estimate, and on the morning of the work. This was not good. Clean up was okay - left in our yard was a tee shirt and a couple of empty plastic water bottles. We'll probably get an estimate from them in the future, and if the price is right, and there is no work for them to do near our power line and our cable line, we will consider them.

Responded and came to do estimate day after request sent. Scheduled work and showed up exactly on time. Very thorough and courteous crew. could not tell they had been here when they left except my trees looked awesome. I would definitely recommend Mitch.

Mitch responded promptly to my call, came around the next day, walked the property and took his time to discuss our needs and answer our questions, then gave the quote on the spot. The price was a little more than we expected, but it was a huge job, so we agreed and he was there within the week. The live oak was very close to our house and they needed to get up on the roof to help remove overhanging branches. I have nothing but praise for this company. The guys arrived on time, and with cheerful and positive attitudes they went about their work. They were professional, efficient and obliging and never stopped working until the job was done 6 hours later. They cleaned up everything, swept, blew, and we were very happy with the results.. We would highly recommend them, and would definitely use them again.

I called Mitch for an estimate and he called me back the next day to schedule an appointment to give me an estimate. Now, let me tell you why it took Mitch a day to call me back. It is because he is with his crew on every job that he does and he supervises the job at hand. Mitch is also not afraid to get his hands dirty as he is fully involved in the job at hand. Once I was provided the estimate which was well below the previous estimates I had received, I told Mitch I would like him to do the job. Mitch scheduled the job for the next week due to him needing to secure the use of a crane to remove the trees from my back yard. People may ask why the crane? Let me tell you why as I have never seen nor heard of using a crane before in removing trees from a site. Mitch explained to me it would be much easier on his crew with the utilization of the crane and also it enabled him to quote a lower price for the job. On the day the job was scheduled, the crane and it's operator arrived on the job site first. Shortly thereafter, Mitch and his crew arrived to start the job. The crane was set up and the job was about to begin. Once the job began I was amazed at how quickly the work was completed. Without the use of the crane, this particular job probably would have taken an entire day, however the job was completed in about 5 hours. I was amazed when I saw the trees being removed from the back yard. The trees were being cut and then lifted over my house and set down in the street. The smaller portions of the trees were lifted over the house and lowered into the wood chipper on the street in front of my house. Once the trees were removed from the back yard, the stump grinding began which was done by Mitch himself. As Mitch was doing the stump grinding, his crew was cleaning up my yard as well as my neighbors yard. A couple of the trees that were removed was dead and a lot of branches ended up in my neighbors yard. Mitch's crew went into my neighbors yard and began cleaning my neighbors swimming pool where a lot of the dead branches ended up. I must say that my neighbor was very happy and they said that they were surprised that a company would take the time to do all that they did. I have never see a more polite and professional business in all of my years. Most businesses these days are not as customer oriented as Mitch is. If I ever need any tree work done in the future of have friends and family that need tree work done, Mitch will be the person I will be calling and referring business too. You will not find a more affordable, professional and customer friendly business anywhere within this area. I would strongly recommend anyone that needs tree work done to call Mitch!! Mitch Drake came for a free estimate. Walked the yard, reviewed trees in question and discussed others. Price was reasonable. Mitch and his crew were on time, early in fact, and VERY efficient. They got right to work and and finished quickly. The job was extremely well done, and they cleaned up after themselves, no debris left behind. Everyone on the crew was very polite. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

I called Mitch and he was very personable and professional. I asked him for an estimate for 2 trees either being trimmed or removed. I did not even know what kind of trees they were. He came by a few days later and answered all my questions. He gave me the estimate and came by with his crew today, removed the trees and took care of everything. Tree Work by Mitch Drake & Sons is an outstanding organization. Mitch Drake has built a great company and my wife and I are extremely happy we selected it. The entire process with the company was totally effortless - from the meeting with Mitch to get an estimate to when the crew departed after removing the trees, stumps and chip/mulch grindings. On both the day of the estimate and the day of removal, Mitch arrived on time . . He provided both Business License and Insurance papers without prompting and explained exactly what would be done.. On the work day, the crew looked professional (wore matching pants and shirts). They were well led and organized, acted professionally and were personable, neat and clean; ALL WORK WAS COMPLETED FLAWLESSLY. Finally, his rates are very reasonable and we would not hesitate to hire Mitch and his team again.

TREE WORK by Mitch Drake and Sons just removed two live oak trees over my home using a giant crane. This is the third or fourth time that I have used TREE WORK by Mitch Drake and I would not use anyone else. As they always do, they knelt in my yard for an extended time in prayer before starting the dangerous work. He does not allow any cigarette smoking or foul language on his crew. My mother had a tree trimmed, and because of the price she paid we had expected the removal to be a lot more expensive. The quote we received from Mr. Drake was very reasonable, we didn't get another bid. The job went well. Trees were removed turned into wood chips and hauled off. Mitch arrived on time and was very professional. We discussed the various issues that would be relevant during a tree removal. He was very professional in every aspect. Price was a little higher than I anticipated, but based on the difficulties in this situation, the price wasn't that far off from what I had gathered while looking at other reviews on Angie's List. I have had a few more estimates provided that were significantly less than the price Mitch quoted. I haven't had the work completed as of yet, but will consider Mitch in the future.

Mitch & his sons have done a few jobs for us since 2010, when we discovered him thanks to work he did for two of our neighbors. His crew does excellent work and is very professional. We appreciate the time and patience they devote to the jobs, respecting our preferences, and making recommendations for how the limbs should be cut to ensure the health of the trees. Clean-up is handled properly and on-site. The first job Mitch did for us in 2010 was extensive, taking several hours in the August heat, and we still comment on how he and his crew methodically worked their way through the project, never getting frustrated, and took the time needed to do the job right. In two of the jobs, the trees sat on the border of our property and the neighbor's, so we split the cost, and Mitch provided receipts to both parties. We recommend him to anyone who asks for a tree trimming service, and some who don't ask, but only mention they need tree work done!
