Description of Work: Retiles complete house plus several additional jobs that were all done extremely well. An excellent family with which to do business and made signing up for Angie's List worthwhile.

Description of Work: I chose McCoy Tileworks because of their excellent feedback here. I emailed Joe McCoy about tiling my house. Joe came out and gave me a bid on the job. We scheduled the job to start a month after his initial visit. He gave me excellent info on shopping around for tile. He also arranged to pick up all the tile we bought and bring it to the house. Joe and his helper Joe showed up promptly every day. They helped me move a few of the heavy pieces (freezer, bureau....) in the house out of each room before they got down to tiling. We did five rooms, and laid out electric heating coils on each floor before tiling the rooms. The job took about three weeks and my wife and I stayed in the house during the fairly unsettling moves. However, the results are outstanding. All of the vertical and straight lines are spot on. Description of Work: They repaired our floor from our dishwasher leaking. They floor buckled, and they replaced that part.

Description of Work: Torn out old sheet rock round tube and put in new boarding and tile. Great job, fast and quick.

Description of Work: Joe McCoy and assistant performed stunning work. They came when they said they would and delivered the product they say they would. They redid our large patio in beautiful quarry tile which they personally broke into individual pieces to form a gorgeous patterned design. They dupluicated what we had but made it even more dramatically elegant. They work quietly and cleanly and left the property in perfect order. We cannot praise them enough.

Description of Work: Joe removed the very poorly installed existing tile flooring in the kitchen, entry and laundry room, then installed the proper sub-floor and new ceramic tile, including picking up the new tile I purchased.

Description of Work: The grout in our 16 year old bathrooms (4) had cracked along the corners and in the showers and along tub edges and in the corners of the powder room. Probably due to age and settleing of home. The cracks were letting water seep into the walls in the showers. The grout had separated from the tile wall around a jucuzzi tub. The McCoys inspected all 4 bathrooms; removed all the existing grout in the area to be replaced; selected the correct grout to be used in the different locations; replaced grout.

Description of Work: Joe tiled the backsplash in our kitchen.

Description of Work: In bathroom 1, Joe McCoy put in a new walk-in shower, tiling to the ceiling, and also tiled the bathroom floor. In the larger bathroom 2, he tiled the tub surround, also to the ceiling, and tiled the floor. In bathroom 3, he tiled the floor. All bathrooms had lino floors, so he put backerboard down on all floors as well as the shower walls and tub surround. He also replaced floor molding with tile.
