They were amazing. They were very good. I found them on Angie's List. They were professional, clean, fast and friendly. They just did really, really good work. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Joe McCoy was very good. I’ve been very satisfied. He did a good job. The job turned out to be excellent. He just did the labor and he didn’t do the materials. I would have to break down the price and I think he probably did $2200 worth of labor. I would tell one that he showed up on time and he returned my calls promptly. He just came back on his own to grout and finish up the job. He left the place clean. It was a complicated job and the quality of his work was excellent. His price was reasonable. His professionalism was excellent. I would use him again in the future if need be.

Kept to the agreed times. Always left work area clean. Tile work look great. Used quality materials.

Went very well. He went to pick up the tile at Home Depot and noticed that it was from two different lots. He got them to order enough from one lot and picked it up the next day. The entire experience was very pleasant and the floors look great. We are definitely going to call them again for two more bathrooms in the future (and maybe more)

There was a leak in the pan. They removed the old tiles. They found out the leak and fixed it. They cut out the additional tiles and installed new tiles. I am very satisfied with them. I would use their service in the future too.

Joe McCoy was chosen after we met with and received quotes from four tile installers. We found McCoy Tileworks on Angie's List. Joe was not the lowest quote, but we think he was the best value. You can't go wrong with Joe and his crew. He communicated well with us; remembered all the details; coordinated his work with the other contractors; and did a beautiful job. He knew how to handle unusual installation issues. We're very pleased with the quality of his work.

I first spoke to Wanda McCoy and she made an appointment for her husband for the next day. Mr. McCoy came to the house to a**** the job and we talked for approximately 30 minutes. As I know what I wanted it probably took less time than is usual. Mr. McCoy looked over the materials that I'd already purchased and let me know what else we would need. He detailed what he would provide and approximately how long it would take to complete the job. He also gave me the name of a company that he recommended to provide the glass for the door and the wall panal. Wanda called back the following day with a quote and I took the evening to think in through and to talk to my husband. The next morning I called to accept the quote and work out a start date. Mr. McCoy started the following week and completed the job on time. I'm extremely pleased with the tilework.

Finding someone like Joe McCoy paid for my Angie's List membership tenfold. He is a master tile person, and having been a general contractor, can understand and troubleshoot any angle or potential problem in advance. The best possible experience you can have with a contractor. Friendly, tireless, punctual, looks out for your best interests, and most importantly, does an outstanding job! My whole house is a testament to his skills and I couldn't be happier. I tell everyone who comes in and raves about the floors (and that would be every single person that comes in), that Joe McCoy did the work and I found him through Angie's List. Look no further.

These people are the best. They are extremely friendly and prompt. When I contacted them for service they came out to do an estimate on the exact same day (a Friday). They were back on the following Monday and were done by Tuesday afternoon. Fast, clean, super-nice, thorough, very meticulous, and inexpensive. Just super, super high marks across the board.

Joe and Wanda came out to look over the job. They were professional, friendly and courteous. Joe knows his stuff! He thought there might be some damage to the pan under the shower (maybe a tear or something). They emailed us a detailed quote. Joe and his son-in-law arrived on time each day to work on our shower. The first day they had everything ripped out and discovered that there was no pan under the shower...hence the leak!!! He supported the water-damaged joists under the house (at no extra cost), and put our shower back together. It is beautiful AND functional now. The job took about a week to complete. They were wonderful and Joe does amazing tile work! I would highly recommend McCoy Tile Works!

Their work is excellent. They were punctual, had a good price and they did excellent work. I don't remember the price, but it was well worth it.

I called on the 9th and spoke to his wife to make an appointment for an free estimate for the 10th of August. Joe McCoy arrive on time, assessed the job and gave me an estimate for the minimum amount he charges for a job which is $250.00. He said his wife would be in touch to schedule an appointment for the work to be done within a week. She called later that evening to schedule it for the next day because the materials for another job hadn't arrived. That was fine with me. He came out at the scheduled time with his assistant Joseph. We discussed again how I wanted them arranged and he gave me very good suggestions. They cut the tiles and arranged them on the platform and floor perfectly. Everything was cleaned before they left on the first day. Because he finished later in the day on the 11th, and we wanted to let the thinset cure for at least 24 hours, he came out on the morning of the 13th to finish the job. They cleaned up after themselves so you would never know workmen had been there. They did an excellent job, I could not be happier. I've had other tilers come out and do work and there was always some problem, but not with this company. I highly recommend them. The job was done to perfectly.

He came out within a day or so to give the quote. That was nice. He seemed to be pretty nice, but his price was kind of high. It didn?t impress me and I didn?t use them. It was a complicated job for a very small shower. It was not easy. I didn?t have a whole lot of interaction with him.

We used McCoy Tileworks previously (after finding him on Angie's List), for a kitchen backsplash, and decided to use them again, as we were very happy with the backsplash project. This was a bigger job, involving a tile floor in a laundry room with a floor drain, and an adjacent bonus room and closet. I could not possibly be happier with this company, from start to finish. He and his wife are nice folks, professional to work with, honest, fair, and in both projects exceeded our expectations. I called Joe a "tile artist" - he really does beautiful work. The previously ugly old laundry drain is now a sight to behold! The other thing that impresses me about Joe is that he is "helpful" - if he can do a little something extra, or an extra step to make things even better, he will. Then later I noticed - he didn't even charge for that work!! Amazing, in this day and age to find someone like that. I enthusiastically recommend this company to anyone who has a ceramic tile project, large or small.

Joe McCoy and his son-in-law Joseph were absolute technicians and craftsmen with rebuilding the shower plus perfectionists with the tile work and daily clean-up. We will look for reasons to use them again. My best friend is already planning to use them for all the stonework and bathrooms in their new home to be built! We really cannot recommend this company more highly.

Everything went so smoothly (as usual). Since we have a rounded fireplace, Joe had to make many cuts in the tile to fit around the opening. He is so meticulous with this...using templates and fine tuning the cuts. Then he had several layers of tile above that (the tile we chose was 12x24). The very top of the wall is not level; so he literally, had to make puzzle pieces out of the tile to make it fit! The result is just absolutely wonderful; it looks like real stone and it's just glazed porcelein. In addition, we have this very modernistic, free-form sculpture that had to be remounted...he bought a new drill bit just for this purpose and drilled the holes and put the sculpture back up for us.

Very professional. I found him to be very friendly and will use him again.

I had called several tile installers over the summer, but kept getting put off. One person never called me back, another told me he was too busy, and another promised to schedule me in two weeks but then never returned my call. When I called the McCoys I got a prompt response, they came out within 48 hours to provide an estimate (which, incidentally was $55 less than the guy who didn't call back PLUS it included the tile!!) I could not be happier. They scheduled me within a week or so, and were prompt and professional. The finished backsplash looks wonderful. I plan to use this company again!

We schedule the job on monday 9/21/09 Joe arrived with helper Wanda at 930am and worked to about 530pm they installed 1/2 wonder board and tile first day second day 9/22/09 arrived at 930 am and completed tile and wounder board left at 530pm. Third 930am done at 100pm grout all tile and cleand up .

We called for an estimate and Wanda called back within an hour. She set up the appointment for the next day and she and Joe came out as promised. We discussed what we wanted done and they measured quickly and answered our questions. We heared back within a couple of days with the estimate. They were able to start the job within a week. They recommended tile quality and after we selected our tile they picked it up for us. Joe started the demolition and even after finding that the removal was more difficult than he anticipated was pleasant and never complained. They had the plumber out on time and the rest of the job went smoothly. He did a wonderful job, tried to be as neat as possible considering the dust, was pleasant and never rushed us even when we asked the same questions over and over.

We used Joe a few months ago for our kitchen backsplash. He did a great job so we called him again for our floors. He had to make some tricky cuts around the toilets which we couldn't remove. The floors look great. Plus he and Wanda are very easy to work with and very nice.

We thought it was very reasonable and set up a date to complete the work. Joe did a great job on the kitchen backplash; we are extremely pleased with it. He works very neatly and we even had a whole box of tile remaining which we were able to return. Both he and Wanda are friendly, courteous and professional...we would recommend them to anyone.
