With several years experience, we work hard to bring each customer the best possible service and quality available. We look forward to working with you on your next project. We welcome your questions, and thank you for your interest.
"Service tech was only interested in selling a new unit. He made all judgments based on a digital multimeter hung out for an hour or so then left stating there was nothing he could do for me and charged 159.00. He condemned the compressor when the problem was the outside compressor fan motor. I replaced it myself and unit works great."

"As a Gainesville native I grew up in the heating and A/C industry and started working when I was five years old. Yes. Five years old. My main responsibility: handing tools to my father, then owner of Willingham Heating & Air. At age nine, I started working summers to make money, and by age 17, I was working full-time for the family business. I took a short break and ventured to Texas and then Orlando, but returned to my roots and have dedicated myself ever since to serving the North Central Florida community by providing sales, service and repair on Residential & Commercial A/C systems

"I tried to leave a review on the company's website, but it got deleted before I could post it. I'm going to try again. This company gave prompt service, but that was where everything went wrong. Their service call fee is either $100 or $125, I was told there was no difference for night or weekend calls originally, but this changed the last time I spoke with a rep. The total bill was for $465 plus tax... They replace two parts: a dual run capacitor that should have run around $30 and a contactor that should have run around $75... but I got charged for $340 for parts. The service call lasted less than 60 minutes. I have tried to get an itemized invoice showing the price of the service call with each part and price along with a warranty from this company for over a month now. The last thing I was told was, "We bill a flat fee and never itemize for anyone." Really?? What business does this? Would you take a car for repair and not expect an itemized bill showing labor and price for each part? Would you dine out and not expect an itemized bill showing the cost of each meal? Would you check out at the grocery store and not expect an itemized receipt showing how much you paid for each item? NO! Not only can I not get a written itemized bill, but I can’t get a written warranty either. On top of that, the credit card that was used to pay for this call was compromised 3 days later to the tune of over $900… I’m not saying that this company had anything to do with that, but at this point I can’t give them the benefit of the doubt. Be warned, THIS COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!"

"I ordered a part from this company for my dryer. They claim: 2 Day Quick Delivery! 365 Day Return Policy! Free Tech Support! I returned the unused part in their own packaging and they refused to provide a refund! Apparently, there's some hidden small print in their return policy that if you open the box and touch the product, that item is no longer eligible for a refund. They claim that the part showed signs of installation such as scuff marks. I asked for the part to be sent back to me for inspection by other professionals, but they refused because they disposed of the part. I've never encountered with such a scam company as this one and advise all to stay away from their misleadings! Good luck trying to get a refund from them, you're not getting one."

Yes, most states require HVAC technicians to be certified, and for good reason. Hiring an uncertified HVAC pro could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. A certified HVAC technician tackling your home projects protects you as a homeowner.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Certified” badge. Angi Certified businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Knowing how long your existing HVAC units can last is essential to determine if you need a repair or replacement. Typically, most modern air conditioning units can last between 15 to 20 years, and most furnaces can work properly for 15 to 30 years. If your HVAC system is on the older side and you decide to replace one unit, it might make sense to replace both simultaneously to save on costs and future hassle.
While different HVAC contractors might offer higher or lower prices than competitors, the best time to replace your HVAC system is when customer demand is low. The beginning of summer and the beginning of winter bring the most demand for HVAC systems, so if you can, consider replacing your HVAC units in the early spring or fall. Many HVAC companies offer special off-season coupons that help lower the overall cost.
The average cost to hire an HVAC contractor is between $50 and $150 per hour if charging hourly. However, some HVAC contractors will charge a flat fee by the type of service they are performing—for example, an inspection can cost between $150 to $500. Keep in mind that emergency repairs—which are made after business hours or around major holidays—generally cost more than scheduled repairs.
The average cost of HVAC repairs is around $350. However, that price can be as low as $100 or as high as $2,000 or more, depending on the repair. For example, replacing a capacitor is a relatively inexpensive repair, ranging from $100 to $500. However, a compressor repair is a more expensive repair, ranging from $750 to $2,000.
