Mr. Brown and Josh were very polite and professional. They did 2 full days of work with barely any breaks. The work all went very well and I recommend them highly and would use them again.

I live in Maryland and rent out a double wide to tenants in Fort White Florida. The tenants had been complaining of exorbitant electric bills. I called Clay Electric out to the home to try and determine what was going on. They surmised it could be some sort of water leak. The trailer uses well water and the pump in the shed kept turning on and off constantly. I found David Brown Enterprises here on Angies List, and called them out to the home. David instantly determined the problem to be that 2 toilets were constantly running due to faulty flushing mechanisms. He replaced them and put in 2 brand new rubber flappers. He only charged me $95. The pump would constantly kick on and off to keep up with the running water. Now that the problem is fixed I'm hopeful the electric bill will be decreased dramatically. David could have taken advantage of my being an absentee landlord. However, he did not. In addition to being honest and knowledgable, his price was fair. When they simply returned my call they were already heads and shoulders above the crowd, as many contractors in Columbia County do not even return calls. I highly recommend David Brown Enterprises. David and his wife are very professional, courteous and paid attention to our needs. The build took a little longer than expected but our home is perfect! David paid attention to our needs and made changes along the way to our specifications. We would recommend his company to anyone who needed a professional job completed. We still hire David's company to do work on and around our property and are very happy with every job!

David and Kyle arrived when they said they would. They used a good quality paint, and covered the area several times. Kyle took down an old metal shed filled with junk, loaded it all onto a trailer, and they hauled it away. Kyle repaired sagging fence. David installed a deadbolt in an outside door. This all took 2 days. I will call them back again.

Since we live over 2 hours away we were hoping to find someone we could trust to handle all aspects of renovation and care of the property. David and his wife have gone above and beyond our expectation and we highly recommend them for any project. All work has been done to our satisfaction and all sub contract work has been closely monitored by David. He is also very diligent in acquiring the best price even if it means taking his time to meet with several people for bids. In addition his rates are reasonable and fair. They have been very easy to work with and have been great about working with our time schedule in terms of doing things gradually at our pace. They were also helpful in the planning process bringing expertise of construction and design to help in decision process. We are very grateful to still be working with them to complete our second floor and other projects in the future.

Mr. Brown and his wife came to my house at 9:00am on February 27, 2013, to do a 4pt. home inspection. The inspection was done I paid them and while he was at my house I mentioned a problem with the caulking in my kitchen sink, I showed it to him and he gladly fixed the problem with no extra charge. I called the insurance company to let them know that I had the 4pt. inspection done and to find out what was the next step that i needed to take to get the insurance process going. They informed that they had their own 4pt inspection sheet that they required to be filled out. I called Mr. Brown and informed him that the insurancde company had their own 4pt inspection to fill out and they also informed me that they needed pictures. Mr. Brown informed that he was headed to another job but as soon as he got back into town he would come back by my house transfer the information to the insurance company form and take pictures of what the insurance company wanted. Mr. Brown and his wife did make a second trip to my house to transfer the information to the form that the insurance company required and took the required pictures. I AM GLAD TO KNOW THAT WE HAD SUCH BUSINESS IN FT. WHITE. THAKS TO ANGIES LIST FOR LISTING THEM AND THANKS TO DAVID BROWN ENTERPRISING FOR SUCH GOOD SERVICE. Doing business with David and his company was a great experience. The arrived on time for multiple appointments even though we are located a little off the beaten path. At all times they were friendly, professional and honest. We will hopefully be able to do some business with them in the future and I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone looking for a builder and contractor.

David and his team were wonderful! They were prompt, responsive, professional and friendly, and their quality of work was excellent. I had a dirty plumbing related job under my house and they took care of it right away. I thought maybe the job would be too small for them, but they handle all size jobs, from building homes to remodels to fencing and misc. handymen jobs. I will definitely hire them again and I certainly recommend them.

Wife noticed a dark patch on the floor Found out it was not just the toilet but also the shower. David and his help had to rip out the old shower and replace the sub floor around toilet and showerand put in a new shower that we bought.

David did a great job---worked quickly, efficiently, and at a very fair price. He cleaned up after himself very well and I would call him again if I need to.

I called David when my gas water heater broke down. There was water and mud all over my floor. David found a new unit at a very good price. He picked it up from Lowe's and installed it, after removing the old unit. He then cleaned up all the mess. David worked quickly and efficiently and quoted a very fair price. I was pleased. The next time I called David was to hang my new front door. He removed the old door and installed a new fir door and all the hardware. Once again, he worked diligently and got the job done in a short time. Again, he cleaned up after himself and I was pleased with the excellent job.

Not only was David's workmanship on the home excellent, but when a minor problem arose he was quick to come out to remedy the situation. Building a home is always a stressful venture, but David did a great job of dealing with problems as they arose. The Structall building is new to most municipalities, and David was knowledgeable in negotiating the hurdles that arose. In addition, David's expertise allowed him to foresee problems with construction in advance.

When David built our house he put in the standard pantry called for in the plans, but I soon found that to be inadequate. I also disliked the split/folding door that was on the pantry. I called David and asked him to install a unit that had drawers, sliding shelves and more stationary shelves, and to also replace the split/folding door with a pocket door. David have to move an electrical outlet just a bit, but was able to install the pocket door as well as the new shelving and doors to make the pantry much more useful.

I asked David to find empty wall space that could be utilized to create more storage space. David found a spot at the side of the laundry closet and created an additional closet.

My home has cathedral ceilings, and a great deal of dead space existed over a door in a spare bedroom/office. A closet and the dividing wall created a small boxed in entry to the room, so I asked David to build and install shelves in that area, utilizing the divider wall and a closet wall. David did an excellent job, and the shelves have held a great deal of weight without sagging or showing any signs of stress.

My son was living with me temporarily, and he had two ferrets which were living in what I considered a fairly small cage. I told David the situation and asked him to build a house for the ferrets. David designed the ferret house so that my son could sit in the house and spend time with them, but that I could also utilize later when I no longer had ferrets living with me. I now rent the house, and the tenants use the "ferret house" for tool storage.
