Description of Work: They never finished the job.The job they did do was poor.SAMPLE of one part of job they broke paneling in family when asked them to fix it I was told to put a piece of furniture in front of it. It was never fixed. This only some of what went on.

Description of Work: ponderosa gave an original bid of 13000.00for a 9x12 kitchen addition....over a period of about 8 mos. with performance money the price was raised to 17000.00 and the job was incomplete...I saw that ponderosa was using the job to make extra money over and above the estimateso I told ponderosa to quit the job and I would finish it myself which I did for about 2000.00....ponderosa then sends me a bill for 3000.00 for work completed...I told ponderosa I didn't see where the work was done and I would not pay...ponderosa then places a lein on my property for 3000.00...I have not paid the 3000.00 and the lein stands till next august...I would not use ponderosa again...john fabacher

Description of Work: Ponderosa was the general contractor for restoring our home after flooding.

Description of Work: We had a small leak in the dishwasher that caused damage to the base area of several cabinets. The leak was not sufficient to overflow from beneath the cabinets, so it only became apparent after it caused discoloration of the baseboards. Naturally, there was more water damage than first met the eye. Jason King at Ponderosa conducted the assessment and prepared the estimate. The insurance company would pay for the damage, and that included refinishing all of the kitchen cabinets so that they would all look alike once the repairs were made. This involved removing all of the cabinets and countertops, so we decided to remodel the rest of the kitchen. It seemed logical since all the appliances were getting older and since the kitchen would be gutted anyway. In the course of the remodeling, the following work and services were performed: 1. Remove, refinish, and replace all kitchen cabinets. Replace cabinet trim. 2. Remove and replace all appliances -- refrigerator, double wall oven, cooktop (changed from electric to gas), range hood, sink, kitchen faucet, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. We purchased all of the appliances. Ponderosa installed them. 3. Install new gas line connection for gas cooktop. 4. Provide and install new granite countertops. 5. Install tile backsplash around all countertops 6. Full year warranty. NOTE ON COST: The total cost includes the cost of the appliances we purchased ourselves, which was approximately $6,200.

Description of Work: They fixed the floor boards in my home. They replaced the whole floor.

Description of Work: Installed new kitchen cabinets, lighting, walls. Removed paneling in den,installed new walls, window sills, wood trim. Painted these two rooms and several other areas in the house. Repaired and painted a two story work shop in back yard.
