Since 1984, award-winning decorator Carol Stearns has created dream rooms for her clients in the Fort Walton Beach, Destin and Niceville areas. She is ready to bring decorating success to your home or office! Carol specializes in draperies and top treatments, blinds and cornices, space planning, furniture - both upholstered and case goods, area rugs, lighting and accessories. With over 200 preferred vendors and 5000 plus samples, Carol will come to your home or office, work with what you have, and help you turn your space into a dream home! Carol regularly attends trade shows in High Point and Atlanta, keeping up with new trends. Carol has won many awards in the Decorating Den Interiors Annual Dream Room Competition. A window treatment she created in a bathroom in Destin, Fl was featured on the cover of Window Fashions Magazine! She has designed two model homes in Destin that have won several awards in the Dream Room competition. Decorating Den Interiors is an international franchise and has the best furniture selection around. Carol will measure, propose furniture selections just for you and order, deliver and photograph! Carol is always conscious of your budget and lifestyle when working with you. She likes to work with what you have, add new things and create a happy home! Carol Stearns has contacts and relationships with many contractors, builders and other retailers. If you are in need of renovations or updating in your home or condominium, she can put you in touch with a reputable contractor to do the work. She is a member of the Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, Republican Women of Okaloosa Federated, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and more. She is President of the Silver Threads Quilt Guild where she supports local charities with donated quilts, stockings and pillowcases for those in need. Carol specializes in window treatments creating unique designs for each window. She keeps up with the latest trends by reading trade magazines and going to market in High Point and Atlanta. Carol Stearns is retired from the Air Force, having served as a LTC with more than 20 years. She spent 17 years in the reserve and was called up for Desert Storm.
