glass repair
+ -1 moreNever again. Worse customer service around. Wasted 2 weeks of my time.
Description of Work: Have a dresser drawer with a mirror front insert that was cracked. Took it down to City Glass to have a new mirror insert cut and drilled. Dropped it off 2 weeks ago to have it done. Paid what they asked right then. Went back a week ago to see if it was done. It wasn’t and she couldn’t tell me when it would be. So I left it there thinking another day or two. Came back 2 weeks after I initially left it. Still wasn’t done. The lady said the mirror was cut and I asked her to bring it out. She did and it looked like they had started drilling, but she said the worker had to go somewhere. I asked her if it would be done today and she couldn’t say either way. After 2 weeks of wasting my time, I had enough and told her I’m taking it somewhere else. This was just a 3’ x 6” piece they couldn’t do in 2 weeks. Ridiculous!!! I took it to Fort Walton Glass of NWF on Racetrack Road, next to Subway and they had everything done within an hour. City Glass doors care about customer service anymore. I highly recommend going to Fort Walton Glass of NWF.

+ 0 moreThey are on top of things like they say when they are going to be there and they will be there. I don't have to chase them. They are really great and price wise they are excellent.
Description of Work: I used City Glass in January when they came out and put some glasses for the existing windows.

+ -1 moreThe estimate was 40% higher than others who bid. I had asked him not to arrive early to the house until the house was open. He did arrive early. He did walk through on his own without me. I had specifically asked him to wait for me. I met him going down the road. He will not even turn around and go back to the house. He said he got everything he needed. He is arrogant. He was not following instructions. They called me to pick up the quote. He followed up with a phone call a month later. I told him that he did not follow my instructions. He did not cooperate. He did everything the way he wanted to do. He is not getting my billing. He broke the rules. They were responsive about billing it, but they did not fit my appointment. He lost the job because of his attitude. He was not punctual as he did not keep his reappointment and the terms of reappointment. I will not use them in the future.
Description of Work: I had received an estimate of glass for my windows.
